If you all so made, sue Google. ### 4/5 — How to see if your child is on YouTube all day *2023-09-14, version 1.3.2* Some kids can handle the temptation of watching YouTube all day and night when they are supposed to be doing school work on their school computer. My kid is not one of them. Hopefully being able to block it now will keep her from failing the 6th grade. One star taken off for the bad “offline schedule” design. It won’t let you choose an AM time after a PM time. The county tech Ed dept claims it’s GoGuardian issue, & I can’t get help from GoGuardian so I have no idea what’s causing this. Now every time I try to open the app to see if it’s been fixed by some miracle, I have to confirm the email address every single time which requires additional steps in an already frustrating drawn-out situation. The lack of support & this non-functional app has caused a significant amount of unnecessary stress. Should my teenager be more disciplined, of course! But he was 12 when the unrestricted iPad was given to him, & he’s now developed horrible habits that I’m trying to break while having ZERO insight into what he’s doing while I’m working. This app allows parents to set limits on their device, block websites, and see history. ### 5/5 — Great for Teachers in the making especially for the students that aren’t doing work. *2023-02-16* As a teacher in the making and with how school district courses are very intense and pressure is put on timelines. It’s great to monitor the students who actually do there work. Teachers deal with students lying about there progress to their faces. Parents do actually ask for weekly progress reports and screenshots from Go-Guardian is required and very useful for sake of Children’s education. PS: to any student or teenager that write these reviews saying how horrible it is, …. when you are a teacher and parent the appreciation will change. ### 5/5 — Great app *2022-04-13, version 1.3.1* This has been such a wonderful app. As a parent of 5 it can be hard to keep everyone on task. This app easily allows me to check in with my kids Chromebook activity and make sure they are getting work done and not watching YouTube all day. Some kid left a bad review…. The things they said , I can’t do on the app. As a parent you aren’t able to block or limit anything during school hours. Only the school can do that. It’s more for accountability. It’s opened up good communication and been helpful in building trust. Having multiple kids on different schedules I am having to log in a lot to adjust timers based on homework flow. Wish that if Face ID is on, that I would not have to enter email and then wait for email verification with a pin.
