It seems like a gross invasion of privacy. It’s also a waste of my phone’s resources. Disable this! Make it required while using but leave us alone when we’re off! ### 1/5 — Not what is advertised *2019-06-27* Not ideal routes for truckers from plant to location, they should do eta times based on practical major highway routes, not all these county roads, maybe invest in truck routes data, and not rely on google maps for eta routes, as they do not offer truck route options. Also add ability for fuel and meal stops, as that adds time to drops or load times. ### 1/5 — Slow and losing money *2019-04-03* Takes forever for load info. Can only be tracked once you accept your load. Not able to see other trucks that are running once you empty out you got to be a mile from location to update the app of being empty. And then you don’t know where you are headed to next to load. ### 1/5 — Not even worth ONE STAR *2019-02-10* The makers of this app doesn’t know anything about being out in the field. One minute you have service as a driver then the next 24 hrs your data is gone! Also to rely on it to order the sand?...No sir! I’m sure they are very proud to make something that is tied into the oilfield and will fight tooth and nail to defend their creation just like most people would. But bottom line.... it just doesn’t cut it out here in the field. GEO fence is Not Reality!!! Must be able to go into past loads And edit and Upload pic of Bills if needed No history available to track your loads either for the week? (Example) Most companies don’t pay Detention and When your stuck on pad and leave loaded cause Well is down it shows you empty, (when Your Not) Driver won’t be held hostage for Free!!! HOS Stay out of that area with your 14 hr timer! Oilfield has multiple Trucks running Paper logs and Line 5 waiting at Well on ELog 100 Air mile rule also When You run us out of the Pool We have to get someone to reset us and get back in a pool and miss loads from this process!!! This app constantly sends messages telling you how to manage your phones settings to cater to the app. “Must always use location services” “Turn battery saver off” Even if you lose signal or close the app you will be bothered to re open. If you close the at at all during a load it just deletes the load info access and you are left out to water. I’ve used many oil production applications and this is by far the most annoying and intrusive. Also our employees android completely crashed when he downloaded this app... ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — Won’t work for a company that doesn’t use this app *2019-12-19* I’m not a big fan of these apps we have to use these days but I have seen in increase in the numbers of load per day when using this one. I’m out here to make money and this app helps that. ### 5/5 — Pro-CDL Driver *2019-08-04* Great App, those who complain have never worked on the field without this with just a text message and no GPS. ### 3/5 — Upload picture from gallery option *2024-04-24* GoHawk is very reception sensitive, and therefore the upload directly after taking the picture within the app is sometimes (a lot of times) not working. Therefore, please include the option to upload images from the gallery instead!!!! ### 3/5 — Notifications *2020-06-07* Can you please fix the notifications? It keeps sending notification saying to open gohawk if your available for a load even though I leave it open in the background. This is very annoying when I’m trying to sleep and get up because I think it has sent me a load. ### 3/5 — Annoying *2020-05-02, version 1.6.1* I wish the app would not keep asking me to open it while it’s running anyway in the background, just to check if I’m available for a load or not!! If I’m not available, we’ll then I just go offline on it... wouldn’t ?!? Turn this “questioning” off!! It gets on my nerves!!! ### 3/5 — Location access *2020-02-18* Only thing I wish it had was an off-duty mode where it doesn’t track your location when you’re off work. No reason for location tracking to be on when not using the app. I get that they need it to find us loads, but my phone alerted me of the app tracking my location 131 times within a couple of days. A bit excessive I think. If you change location tracking from “Always” to “Only While Using” app, it signs you out of the app completely. Other apps have that option where we become available/ unavailable for a load. I don’t see why this one doesn’t. ### 3/5 — Maps *2019-12-05* What happen to the option where we could use either waze or google maps for directions? Can we get that option again? Directions have sent me through neighborhoods no truck routes on multiple occasions. The trend now is to ask other drivers if the route is correct. Too many times the answer is NO.
