## What is GoHub?

GoHub lets you work with your recorded Go games saved in .sgf format, launched on any device: iPhone, iPad or Mac. Edit the history of games, add annotations to every move and export your games in SGF format to share with your friends! The list of supported options constantly expands.


## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 2.4.0 — 2026-07-18

Parsing of SGF files has been remade. Now it supports more elements allowed in SGF files and validates more possible errors while staying tolerate to certain non-critical violations which are often present in saved records.

Editing mode has been added. You can open records containing moves adding and removing multiple stones at a time, and the app has a special mode allowing you to create such moves.

The set of available tools has been updated, providing more tools for annotations and editing.

Placing stones and other actions performed on the board now have sound and haptic feedback.

For small screens, the landscape layout has been added to give the board and editor panels more space.

The appearance has been updated to support both Liquid Glass and previous style.

Bug fixes:
* The controls for the comment editor now are displayed within visible area
* The info button is displayed correctly on iOS older than 16.0
* Text labels do not duplicate for one move
* Variation badges are displayed correctly when adding a new branch
* Duplicated records copy general information contained in the original records

1. More information about recorded games, such as the place or result, has been added to the editor
2. Now there is a possibility to set your custom handicap when creating a new review

A few new features added in this version:

1. Now every move can have a comment
2. The toolbar panel has been refined to give more space to the central element of the editor: the board
3. A rarely used yet important element of the game: ability to pass!

Also, a number of minor improvements has been made to improve UX.

Here is a couple of useful features added in this version:

1. A small but really important thing: coordinates of the board!
2. Now the board can be zoomed in order to provide a better experience on devices with a compact screen
3. Navigation has become easier with the new navigation panel
4. The marks on the board have become more recognisable, and now you can see the next recorded moves just on the board
