## What is GoHubs?

GoHubs is your free toolkit for the outdoors. One app, fifteen activities, from off-roading and angling to boating, hunting, diving, skiing, climbing, and more.

Pick your activity and get genuinely useful tools in the field:

• Live map of local spots. Trailheads, launches, parks, crags, dive sites, and operators near you, no account needed.
• Explore what's actually there. Named trails, runs, boat launches, rivers, and dive sites mapped where they really are, depending on your activity.
• Plan the trip. Route planner, packing checklists, and an AI guide that answers questions about where you're headed.
• Record your day. GPS tracking that keeps going with no signal, saved to your logbook and synced when you're back in range.
• Identify what you find. Plant and animal identifier for the trail.
• Save your favorites. Bookmark spots across every activity, synced to your free account.

Belong to a community or use an outfitter? Search their name or scan their code to open their branded experience right inside the app. Custom local maps, info, and tools from the people who run your spot. One app, no extra download.

GoHubs is free. The map and local listings work with no sign-up; a free account unlocks saved spots and your logbook.

## Version history (last 4 releases)

### 1.0.3 — 2026-09-22

A new look. The tab bar and the top bar now float over the map as glass, so the map runs edge to edge and the tabs stay in reach while a trail or listing is open. Menus, sheets and map controls share the same material.

Safety Plan. File a trip plan before you go: where you are heading, when you are due back, and who to tell if you are not. Now switched on for every activity that offers it, not just a few.

Webcams for paddling, farm country, equestrian and off grid. The same verified cams the website shows, and the ones you save follow your account.

Off grid picks up route planning and the public land layer the other activities already had, and waypoints arrive for off grid and RV parks.

The hub finder is one box again. Results tell you why they matched, each one wears its own hub's mark, and the scan button says what it does instead of showing a bare icon.

Signed out, community chat, events and photos now say you need to sign in, instead of telling you the community is empty.

A tidier More tab, and the two map controls that both said "Track" now have names that say which is which.

### 1.0.2 — 2026-09-15

Track recording keeps every GPS fix while your phone is in your pocket, so a drive, ride or hike draws the path you actually took instead of straight lines between the few points it used to catch. Standing still no longer draws a scribble, and a stray fix can no longer add a leg you never travelled.

The same five tabs in every activity: Home, Map, Plan, Track and More. My Hub moved to your account menu.

Every map now has the basemap, layers, my-location and measure controls, not just the main one.

Picking a place from map search opens it. Lists tell you when they are showing far-away spots instead of quietly mixing them in. The Today tile names the place it forecasts, asks for location when it needs it, and offers a retry when weather fails. Bigger tap targets on the controls you use most.

Name a recording right after you stop, or later from your tracks, and the name is what you see everywhere. Sharing a trail with the community is a separate step now.

### 1.0.1 — 2026-09-10

Sign in with Apple and Google. Create a free account in two taps and keep your email private with Apple if you like. Email and password still work, and you can reset a forgotten password from the app.

The sign-in sheet now moves out of the way of the keyboard, so you can see what you are typing.

3D terrain on the map. Tilt the view and see the actual shape of the land before you head out.

Measure tool. Tap points on the map to get the distance, and from three points on, the area they enclose.

Faster to open, and the app now speaks Spanish from the first screen.

Search results on the map open the place you picked. Lists tell you when nothing is nearby instead of quietly showing far-away spots. Weather says where it is for.

Account fixes. Creating an account now tells you clearly if something went wrong instead of pretending it worked. Confirmation links open the app and sign you in. The account screen no longer scrolls under the status bar. Entering a hub code that does not exist no longer gets the finder stuck.

Plus fewer errors when you open an activity without signing in, and the app keeps working when your hub is saved but you are offline.
