### 2/5 — Price

*2026-07-17, version 12.0.2*

Way to expensive to consider. If I’m already paying so much money for hunting itself I think this price is too high for the people who can barely go out for their state tags

### 2/5 — Love the app, but I can’t use it now

*2026-05-22, version 12.0.0*

Love the app, but I can’t get past the paywall screen even though I have a subscription. My only option is to “subscribe”. Even when I hit that button it tells me I already have a subscription and goes back to the paywall screen.

### 2/5 — Dislike

*2026-03-24, version 11.0.6*

I don’t like how it you lose your hunt plan every time you close your phone.

### 1/5 — Functions dont adequately support hunting motions

*2026-03-05, version 11.0.3*

App became limited in scope when compared to other competitors. Onx for example had better mapping features and started doing draw results. This really just became a comarketing platform for discounts on hunting gear. Customer service support was limited. Ultimately functions well, but those functions aren’t as powerful.

### 1/5 — Not good

*2026-02-26, version 11.0.2*

This is a map service (nothing more) at a premium cost - OnX blows them away. I wanted this to be what they claim it is, but the premium service is a joke. For $540 you get a 5 minute meeting with someone who will try to talk you out of applying for tags and then they won’t respond again. Save your money. I emailed them 6 times in 2 months to ask questions and no one responded once. DO NOT BUY THIS. Great idea horribly executed.

### 1/5 — Better Alternatives

*2026-02-12, version 11.0.1*

Have used GoHunt as a way to source check OnX and manage pre hunt planning. Over the years the information has just gotten worse - it seems like for WA harvest results are outdated and the actionable
Information like forestry access is non-existent. Additionally, have had issues with renewal support, that when similar issues occurred with OnX were handled quickly. Between the outdated info, lack of updates to the map tech and support - the money here is better spent elsewhere.

90% sure the 5 stars here are all bots.

### 2/5 — Crashes Constantly

*2026-01-22, version 10.0.1*

App crashes every time I use the research tool. It works ok for maps, but research tool crashes it every time. This has been going on for over 6 months with no resolution. Worked with GoHunt tech support but nothing was ever fixed. Based on other reviews this issue is clearly not just with my phone.

### 2/5 — It’s not a bad, but onx is better

*2026-01-20, version 10.0.1*

First and primary was that the 7-day free trial was not free. It immediately billed $26 despite the advertised cost was free for 7 days then I’d be billed the annual cost.

This app isn’t bad. But onx is cheaper and the user experience feels like a hunter built it. GOHUNT feels … a little clunky. Looked at areas I knew well and accuracy was good there but not better than onx.

I came here wanting an alternative to onx but ironically I think this kind of pushed me towards that platform.

### 1/5 — Pay up

*2026-01-19, version 10.0.1*

This app doesn’t do anything until you pay. No test run or free version. Straight to pay or you’re nothing.

### 1/5 — No Text Available

*2026-01-05, version 10.0.1*

No keyboard shows up when I’m trying to sign up for this app. If I can’t even register I can’t imagine how bad the rest of the software is.

### 2/5 — Can’t utilize maps

*2025-12-21, version 10.0.1*

I’m an insider and bought my membership on the website, but when I try to use the maps on the Apple app it doesn’t recognize my insider membership even though I’m signed into the same account. Frustrating because I really like going through the units and e scouting.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Big price for a basic app

*2026-08-21, version 12.0.3*

This app sucks all the way around and it cost 169$ what a rip do t sign up for the free trial it will disappoint and they will stick you with 169$ before you realize it !

### 1/5 — Georgia

*2026-08-11, version 12.0.3*

Don’t go on here if your looking for any hints in Georgia or near it couldn’t find any

### 1/5 — Got Scammed

*2026-07-26, version 12.0.3*

Got absolutely swindled out of $170 and there was nothing I could possible do about it and I tried everything

### 1/5 — Do not but, scam

*2026-07-26, version 12.0.3*

I got the trial version to test and see but they make it so you can’t cancel till they pull money out of your account. Their support will not get back to you. DO NOT BUY THIS APP.

### 1/5 — Scam

*2026-07-13, version 12.0.2*

Do not put your card into this app. Nearly impossible to cancel a membership. Terrible costumer service!

### 1/5 — Money grab

*2026-07-12, version 12.0.2*

Their subscription is 160$ a year and if you accept the free trial they don’t give you a way to cancel or delete your account before you are charged the 160, tried reaching out to them multiple times to prevent being charged and even after. Absolute scam, I cannot believe these people are getting away with it.

### 1/5 — Not quite there

*2026-04-12, version 12.0.0*

App UI design is good but the app freezes stuck on opening sometimes for minutes at time. It just hangs up on the opening page (with the camo background and company logo in the middle).

Not every single time but invariably when you need to navigate or mark a moving animal. Not worth busting an opportunity or burning 5-10 minutes waiting for a stupid to just open. Ive had it on multiple generations of iPhone pro maxes so it’s not a one off issue

### 1/5 — Always crashes

*2026-03-22, version 11.0.5*

Use to be okay but it just crashes all the time. Onx is way better at the moment. Love GoHunt on the website but the app has a LONG way to go.

### 1/5 — Should’ve Been Free

*2026-03-13, version 11.0.4*

It would’ve been a great app if they used ads instead of charging $170/year

### 1/5 — App keeps crashing

*2026-03-13, version 11.0.4*

Started the 7 day free trial and canceled within 20 minutes because the app kept crashing on me

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Worth every penny

*2026-08-28, version 13.0.0*

Only regret I have is not getting in on GoHunt sooner. The point system in the shop has saved me a ton of $, they do solid sales consistently, but the most valuable part is the 1 on 1 zoom calls you get as an insider+ member. They jump at the chance to try and help you with everything from e-scouting, planning your upcoming hunts, to reviewing your gear for each one and give honest feedback on what you’ll need and what you can leave behind. Plus their hunt research tool is phenomenal. Give it a solid year and engage in all the things they have to offer, I bet you’ll be hooked just like me.

### 5/5 — Worth the money

*2026-07-05, version 12.0.1*

I use this app year round. Whether it be to narrow down the search using filtering, app season for draw odds (favorite part of the app) e scouting or just shopping g for next years hunt. I will renew my membership year after year.

### 5/5 — Best app on my phone

*2026-03-22, version 11.0.5*

Life changing. Get Gohunt. And go hunt.

### 5/5 — Best hunting app

*2026-03-02, version 11.0.2*

GOHUNT is the best hunting app by far! Easy to find hunts you want to do look at terrain and even buy gear!

### 5/5 — Love it

*2026-02-19, version 11.0.2*

Wouldn’t go back. App can some times wig out.

### 5/5 — A must for western hunters

*2025-12-17, version 10.0.1*

If you are trying to get out and hunt, you need Go Hunt. If you want to hunt every year, you gotta apply for more than one state. Go Hunt gives you the tools to put a tag in your pocket.

### 5/5 — All around best hunting app/tool

*2025-12-06, version 10.0.1*

I’m really not sure why it took me so long to jump into GoHunt but it is the best investment for any hunter in my opinion. One stop shop for the best gear, permit application information, and maps. I recommend it to everyone….no question.

### 5/5 — Excellent

*2025-12-05, version 10.0.1*

I started using GOHUNT 3 years ago, I like there maps better and overall system! It’s a tool I use year round for research in many states!

### 5/5 — Great hunting product

*2025-11-22, version 10.0.1*

Awesome mapping, easy access to the information you need to get more tags.
I think it’s the best community/hunting app you can get.
