I cancelled it since in that year I never booked a flight. However I did check out the website from time to time. I decided to give it one more chance & did the free trial but forgot to cancel. I now have the Premium Membership. But beware, the Premium doesn’t give you anything more than just checking on the website. Premium is definitely a scam. The Elite membership is what you have to get if you want the real deals. This app makes sense if you are flexible on both the destination and time. I wish I knew that places I travel to never see any deals. ### 3/5 — Painful App + website response times *2026-05-06* When I get an alert and click on the notice to open the app, the vast majority of the time it just sits in loading mode. I thought perhaps it was just the app getting hit by too many people at once, but the website had the same laggy response. Performance needs improvement or it is not worth paying for a heads up about quickly-sold out fares when you can’t see the notices until it’s too late. **Developer response:** This one stings because you're right about the stakes: a deal alert you can't open in time isn't worth much. Slowness on both app and web at the same moment usually points to load on our end when a big deal goes out, and our engineering team tracks these spikes. Speed is the whole point of an alert, and we want it to hold up. ### 2/5 — Stop Ad Spamming Me! *2026-05-05, version 4.13.0* I really like this app. So much so I signed up for the elite membership (but not the auto renewal). Six months into my annual membership, I start to get pop ups every time I open the app to renew my membership. I paid for the service and I have to deal with these intrusive pop ups every ads for the remainder of the membership for 6 months!! Does not give me a good impression of this company anymore ### 2/5 — Nothing special *2026-04-11, version 4.11.2* Many deals are just basic economy. After correcting for necessities like a carry on, they stop being special. A lot of time wasted on browsing to see what’s a real deal. ### 4/5 — Preview snippets need to GO *2026-03-24* I have been using this app for a year or two. I’ve found a few stellar deals but I hate that i am getting many emails from them with preview snippets that don’t exist when I open the email. It feels deceitful. I am paying for the app because I want the deals, I don’t need more incentive to open an email. IE “the best part of the Virgin Islands is not having to sear. . .” And then I open the email and there is no finished sentence. It is a waste of time and money to buy this app. ### 3/5 — Needs an expensive subscription to book *2026-03-17, version 4.10.1* Immediately ask you to create an account. Then show you a paid subscription is needed to book anything, where there are so many free flight finders out there. ### 2/5 — Great for cheap economy flying *2026-03-16* Going is made for those people who are looking to go somewhere for as cheap as possible. If you are interested in business class or especially first class this is not the app for you. There are some features that accommodate first class but not if you have any preferences like a time frame you’re looking to depart. You also can’t let the app look for flights for you if you’re looking to fly first class. But if you don’t care what time your flights are or want any perks then it will work great for you! I paid for elite and then found out the app couldn’t do anything I was looking for in booking a first class flight. I contacted the company but couldn’t get a refund. **Developer response:** Thanks for this feedback- you're right that we can add even more value to our Elite memberships, and would love you to stay around and see all the improvements! That said, we can offer refunds if within 30 days, unless you purchased through the App Store. In that case, Apple controls all refunds, and you can contact them - our support team sent you a link on how to contact them, and they should be able to assist with any eligible refunds. ### 1/5 — Don’t waste your money *2026-03-08, version 4.9.4* Charge you a monthly subscription fee and only show deals out of major airports. Stick with Priceline/kayak/kiwi. There are multiple FREE search engines with similar deals. This is just another app scam with a monthly fee. My wife and I used to find some seriously amazing deals on international flights. Since the rebrand to Going everything they offer is a subscription/hides behind a paywall. It’s such a shame to see what used to be such a cool service reduced to what it is today. ### 1/5 — App not functional *2026-08-07, version 4.19.1* downloaded to compare to Expedia; App is so broken that it won't even allow me to search before logging me out. Only a message that says “upgrade to premium” when I try any function on the app. I paid for the upgrade but it didn’t ever start. After I’ve subscribed it gave me a fare for a month I can’t travel even though I put my travel month in the query and it just sent me to Google. Google is free to look up. Their flights kayak is also free and there are way more options. ### 1/5 — Pointless *2026-04-16, version 4.12.0* What is the point of paying for a premium membership to get alerts for mistake fares when you can’t even look at the mistake flight? Every. Single. Time. the app either crashes, doesn’t load, or spits you out to the world map if you try and click on a mistake fare notification. Why pay for something that doesn’t work? You’re better off setting price alerts on Google Flights. WE SAVED OVER $200 EACH WITH ITS DEAL!! I’m amazed.
