## What is Going Up?

"The vibes here are impeccable"
—Vice

"Fast, simple, solid, and challenging"
—PocketGamer

Going Up is a strategy game where you control groups of lifts in a skyscraper to deliver passengers before they lose their patience. Optimise elevator movement as you deal with a fussy cast of passengers—impatient CEOs, mean soldiers and confused tourists. There is no one solution to elevator optimisation: every stage will have its unique bottlenecks, passengers and problems.

Can you keep people moving, or will they have to take the stairs?

• Deliver your passengers: manage elevators in a skyscraper to deliver passengers up and down to their destinations as efficiently as possible.
• Adapt to complex situations: learn to manage increasingly complicated systems of lifts, from multiple lifts, to lifts that operate on different sets of floors, to lifts that completely skip floors.
• Placate fussy characters: deal with a cast of seven unique characters, from impatient CEOs to mean soldiers to confused tourists. Learn their behaviours to score the greatest number of points from each of them.
• Rack up high scores: compete on a global leaderboard to gain the most points in each level.
• Ascend the mysterious skyscraper: discover different environments on each level, playing with different sets of lifts as you climb to the very top.
• Play on the go: play one handed, while commuting, queuing in line, or waiting for the lift. Every round lasts at most a few minutes.

### 5/5 — I like this game so much❤️

*2026-02-18*

This game is the best. I give this game 10 rating

### 3/5 — Impossible level

*2026-01-08*

This game is well done and fun. Clearly I’m lame as when I got to the Arcadia level all fun stopped- I have tried to beat this level hundreds of times and each time the janitor comes and time ends-

Great up to this level, now impossibly frustrating

**Developer response:** Thanks for playing! It is a difficult level, and your frustration is warranted. One strategy you may want to try is to let the janitor become impatient and see if you can continue to deliver other passengers. Hope this improves your playing experience.

### 4/5 — This game is good

*2025-12-01*

It’s a good game overall, but it gets a little boring after a while. Hope you continue to make games because you have potential

**Developer response:** Thanks for the encouragement and support!

### 5/5 — It’s a Good game

*2025-11-25*

It’s a good buy game. It trains your fast decision making and become a good observer. You really have to use both left and right eye for timing. Almost like when you have to draw something with left and right hand independently

**Developer response:** Thank you so much! Glad you enjoyed the game.

### 4/5 — Cute & Quick

*2025-11-25*

Cute little game that takes an evening to beat. Good game to get sucked into!

**Developer response:** Thanks for playing!

### 1/5 — Point System Is Stupid

*2025-11-12*

Too many runs where achieving 40 points just isn’t possible. It’s very frustrating.

**Developer response:** Thanks for the feedback. I understand the frustration, but I promise collecting 40 points is possible. One strategy you may want to try is to let the janitor become impatient and see what happens and see if you can continue to deliver other passengers. Hope this helps and improves your playing experience.

### 4/5 — Only 10 levels？

*2025-09-07*

only 10 levels？

### 4/5 — Really fun with great potential

*2025-04-24*

I enjoy this game very much and it’s worth the low price. I would like to see perhaps a better balance because there appears to be some randomness to the janitors (if you’re not playing yet, this may be confusing) and sometimes they show up almost immediately after the round starts. I would also love to see an endless version as well; that would be key to make this game easily a contender for one of my favorites.

**Developer response:** Hi, thanks for the feedback! I've further balanced the janitor to make his appearances more fair—if he shows up early at the start he will now take a longer time to reappear. I hope that improves your playing experience.

As to an endless mode, thanks for asking! We will definitely consider adding it in the future.

### 3/5 — Good game issue with gameplay

*2025-02-19*

Janitors come too quickly, I have to delay picking them up so that I can get more stars which feels counter intuitive

**Developer response:** Hi, thanks for the feedback. I've balanced the janitors a bit more to moderate how fast they appear, I hope that makes playing more fun for you.

### 5/5 — How to take 3 stars???

*2024-12-09, version 1.2.1*

Dev - total points collected only 31-32 for a stage and ends. How to collect 40points when there isn’t much people.

Seems like there’s a serious bug cos unable to proceed without 3 stars obtained

Overall it’s fun but need to stop till this issue is fixed.
