## What is Going Well Clare?

From physical activity and mental health, to responding to intellectual challenges and interactions within your community, this ‘Going Well Clare' App can make Wellbeing a ‘lived reality’ by aligning and combining your core life energies and activities in a way that you can track and measure.

'Going Well Clare' therefore contains a suite of useful tools that allows you to Co-ordination Community Activities (Team Events, Volunteer Activities, etc.), Learning Modules, Mindfulness and Mood-Tracking applications and a Story-telling and Diary solution, as well as a host of other useful solutions that can help you better understand and respond to the rapidly changing world around you.

Using these tools in turn allows the App to calculate and monitor your ‘WeQ’ score, which is to wellbeing what IQ and EQ are to Intelligence and Emotions, and which offers a useful reflection of your Wellbeing on an ongoing basis. 

Created by the Gaelic Athletic Association and Clare County Council in conjunction with leading Irish academics, and adhering to the core principals of the World Health Organisation’s 'Life Energies' and UNESCO’s ‘Sustainable Development Goals, this App is non-commercial, and no information gathered through the service will in any way be sold or shared for any reason other than in the delivery of the Going Well programme.
