There’s no option to just cancel and not try and find another driver. This is costing me so much money. So if something is cancelled, you need to allow the user to activate whether they want to look for someone else or not. Give them the option. This is a ride-hailing app, so I can’t turn off notifications completely because I need to hear from my driver. The app takes advantage of that by constantly pushing ads and marketing messages. My phone keeps getting interrupted by notifications I never asked for. It’s spam, not a service. This is extremely frustrating and honestly disgusting. Users should never be forced to choose between receiving important ride updates and being bombarded with advertisements. ### 1/5 — Unaccountable business *2026-07-05, version 5.67.0* If you ever have a problem, expect support to send an auto generated response saying Thank you for your patience” and ending the chat. This happens repeatedly and there it doesn’t seem like you can escape this loop. Also there is a new scam where the drivers simply don’t move, waiting for you to cancel to receive a small cancelation fee. This has happened the last 10 or so times I’ve tried to get a car without fail. ### 1/5 — Never download this app *2026-07-05, version 5.67.0* Absolute balls this app. Every single time I use it I get signed up randomly to gojek plus. I cancel auto renew and and make sure it's not on auto renew then a month later it adds me to it. And it goes on and on. It's a con. And you cannot get in touch with support they are of no help. Use Grab instead, it's much more professional ### 1/5 — POOR DRIVER TREATMENT *2026-06-28* I am genuinely disgusted by how Gojek appears to treat its drivers. During our trip in Bali, we ordered food through the app. The order was cancelled by Gojek’s own system it wasn’t cancelled by the driver, and it wasn’t caused by anything he did. Despite that, the cost was reportedly deducted from the driver’s account. Watching him explain what had happened was heartbreaking. Drivers already deal with difficult customers, traffic, and long hours. They shouldn’t also have to worry about being financially penalized for errors that are completely outside of their control. If this is how the platform handles cancellations, it reflects very poorly on the company. A business should support the people who make its service possible, not shift the cost of its own mistakes onto them. Until Gojek is more transparent and ensures drivers are treated fairly, I can’t recommend using the service without serious reservations. **Developer response:** Hi Huggels, we're sorry for the inconvenience.
