GoKart is a rideshare transportation service for kids ages 6-17. The company was founded in 2016 by Stacy Shannon. GoKart was created on the belief that there needed to be a safer and more reliable solution to kids' transportation. The team at GoKart cares very deeply about kids' safety, as well as keeping kids involved in sports and activities that promote growth and well-being. We are here to help other parents and caregivers who juggle modern day challenges of a work/life balance. We have high standards and expectations for our drivers. All of our drivers have minimum 5 years childcare experience, a clean driving history and background check, strong references and a vehicle in new or good condition. We interview all of our drivers and we only hire those that we trust with our own children. In fact, most of our drivers are moms, school bus drivers or teachers that are passionate about children. We tried to call the customer support number on the website and that doesn’t work, we tried to email them, that doesn’t work either. GoKart used to have a booking system through their website and this is much more user friendly and easy to rebook recurring rides. You can see the ride live and get push notifications regarding the status of the drive as it is happening. ### 5/5 — HDADKINS *2018-10-11, version 1.5* This service has been amazing for us. We have been using it since last year. Stacy, the owner, helps us with last-minute issues like what to do when school is cancelled. We depend on the service to get my daughter to school daily— because I start work at the same time. She gets matched with her same driver whom she adores. It is so easy to use. You can quickly schedule a ride with 12 hours’ notice. The drivers are screened extensively with background checks and driving records—and must also have experience with children. We used to hire people for assistance and go through several interviews—but this has worked so much better and I feel more much comfortable with the people. You know your ride will be there.
