The vibe was fun and welcoming from the moment I arrived. The staff is amazing, very welcoming, cheerful, and they really listen to you (Marine and Sarah are the best). Even though the phone message said the reception was open until 9pm. After an hour of unanswered phone calls and emails we needed to book a second room and download an app to receive room details. We are now trying to contact the motel to get a refund on the first room that we were unable to access and our phone calls are being ignored. Think twice about booking this place. Believe the other reviews that say the walls are paper thin. I know paper is thicker than those walls. I heard my neighbors conversation word for word including him blowing his nose. No blinds or curtains. Phone didn’t work. No way to contact anyone for towels or tissue until they magically appear at the desk at some point during the day. The shower didn’t have anywhere to put your soap or toiletries. Just a place to hang your towel. This place seems like a “pop up” hotel. The concept was cute but it didn’t land. The desk staff and cafe staff are really nice and make you feel welcome. The location is super fun and so convenient right next to the Metro and dozens of restaurants.
