Unfortunately I am deleting due to not using it enough to justify the $8.99 it costs per year to keep. ### 4/5 — Map mode not working on iPad Pro 20223 *2024-05-15, version 2.7.1* For some reason pressing the map button closes/crashes the App and returns you to the main page of your device. Strangely works on my iPhone 15 but not on the iPad, could this be fixed/looked into please. ### 3/5 — Very simple perhaps too simple *2023-08-27, version 2.7.1* I put a lot of hope into this app but I can see many reasons why it frequently fails. The forecast alone would have to have a lot more input and be capable of much more complex analysis of the conditions to form a more accurate image of the photographic conditions; the good light is far more practical as blue and golden hour is otherwise freely available elsewhere. It also scores the conditions from a couple of main criteria which for landscapists is never sufficient. It’s not all about soft light and scattered clouds. On a number of occasions the light and cloud scores remain high although the conditions are completely different. Most trivial weather apps do update all the time meaning are very accurate closest to the time in question; definitely not the case in this app. Disappointing. ### 3/5 — Not actually included in the bundle purchase *2021-04-24* Replying to the Dev: So … when I paid for the bundle, which included this app, I got the free version of this app not the full version! I’m pretty sure that’s what I said. That’s up to you, but it’s not what I expected when buying the “bundle”. ===[ original review ]=== I bought the bundle of three apps, which included this one, but it’s still asking me to upgrade. That’s up to the dev I guess, but it’s a bit confusing to include it in a bundle purchase if the purchase doesn’t apply to all apps in that bundle. **Developer response:** I think you are mistaken. GHO is not offering other apps for purchase. If you bought the bundle you truly own all three apps. GHO is offering in-app purchase of better weather forecast from paid servers. ### 3/5 — GoldenHour.One *2020-09-04* Bin doch zu weiten Teilen zufrieden. Schon einige schöne Location für Drohnenflug gefunden. Man kann einen Ort zwar suchen, auswählen...aber den Punkt auf einen POI der eigentlichen Wahl zu verschieben geht offenbar leider nicht !? Hilfreich wäre hier die Eingabe/ Übernahme von GPS Daten. **Developer response:** Ich verstehe das Problem nicht. Der gesuchte Ort und der Ort auf der Karte können in der POI-Liste gespeichert werden. (Die POI-Schaltfläche befindet sich in der unteren rechten Ecke der Karte.) This app takes the effort out of that as because it effectively provides the hour when it is happening. So, in looking for the light the beauty reveals itself. Thank you to Golden Hours creators. Excited to test it out of my next session for accuracy. I had some issues with it when I first bought it with it crashing. Their support figured it out and released an updated in a matter of a day. To make it possible for you to use it’s date we pay money based on traffic.
