I live in Ohio and there is only one event. It keeps recommending events in Florida and San Diego even though I have my filter set to 50miles. And the sole event for my organization doesn’t even have sign up button, nor do some others. Yeah…another failed partnership by our clueless leadership. No one asked for this. ### 3/5 — California Exclusive *2023-04-21, version 3.3.3* I really appreciate the developers for making this app. It’s a great idea, and exactly what I was looking for! Unfortunately, for anyone who doesn’t live in California, this app may not be worth it. Like other people have expressed, I only found a single volunteer opportunity within 50 miles of me, despite the fact that I live next to a major university. Developers, you may want to get into contact with United Way or other big volunteer organizations to alert them to the existence of this app instead of waiting for them to come to you. ### 2/5 — Only shows FAR AWAY opportunities *2023-03-26, version 3.3.2* No matter what local zip code I put in, I am shown opporunities from places as far away as San Diego — somewhere that I am nowhere near. Not sure what the reason is. Will keep this app in the background until it can be updated properly. Wish that it would show something like “No opportunities near you” if that is the reason. ### 2/5 — Buggy *2022-11-13, version 3.3.0* seems good but it crashes VER frequently ### 2/5 — For Los Angeles Area it Seems *2022-04-27, version 3.2.9* It’s wonderful that your spending time developing an app that is probably not the most lucrative project you could be spending your time on - that’s very noble. I’m in New York City - the largest city in the country- and there was only one organization with a listing. So here’s my feedback: 1) please allow users to see opportunities before signing up - the only explanation for not doing so is that your somehow trying to monetize the collection of emails. I honestly feel duped for giving my email address. 2) Consider renaming your app something with LA or Los Angeles in the title, or at least make it very clear in the description that there is limited opportunities in areas other than _____ Or if you’d just allow people to search opportunities before signing up, the second suggestion wouldn’t be necessary. There’s space for an app like this so if you’re a 501c3 you should write a few grants and you’ll be poppin in no time. ### 2/5 — Am I missing something? *2022-03-25, version 3.2.8* I don’t know what is going on, but all of the shifts available have 2021 dates. I filled out the required information but it won’t let me continue on. ### 1/5 — Poor Connections *2020-03-03, version 3.0.7* Apparently Golden thinks that the greater Atlanta area is doing just fine because only 4 opportunities will pop up even when I expand my availability to all day every day. Yes. That is the distance from Honolulu to Atlanta. It does not always show all of our opportunities and the user interface could be a lot simpler and more user friendly. Also, most of the photos for listings were of white people “helping” dark skinned people. No thanks. There is no sign up with Apple option. Both sections of the page “sign up” and “sign in” have the buttons “sign in” with Apple. The sign up page has a “sign in” button and even when I hit it nothing happens. I hope this makes sense.
