I always know if everything is legit because I check it often. I still write checks and need to use them more. The chances of fraud are far less likely if you pay by USPS Mail. No electronic hanky panky can happen if you use checks. Golden West is very secure I trust them completely, just not all the protections on the internet. This bank along with others, closes their brick n motor stores. If the tech department can make the app a better experience, I would absolutely transition all of my banking back. I’ve renamed it multiple times at this point and now have run out of ideas to use or even remember. App is useless if I can’t even log in. Chat support wasn’t helpful. They ended the conversation with me telling me it’s my iPhone’s fault and user error rather than the app. ### 1/5 — DO NOT UPDATE IF YOU HAVE AN IPAD!!! *2023-10-13, version 4010.2.0* This latest version (10/2023) does not support landscape orientation on an ipad - even though the screen shots in the app description show that it does. It hijacks your entire pad into portrait mode, rendering your keyboard useless. If they want to make a portrait-only app, that’s fine, but then allow it to run in portrait-in-landscape mode on an ipad like many iphone apps are capable of. And also, indicate the sort of app it is by including actual and accurate screen shots.
