The app was really good, cheap prices for a drive here and there couldnt complain only big problem i see is the APP DOESNT ACCEPT APPLE PAY SOMETIMES, drives me mad when it says payment failed when it was working the other day. Developers fix this issue.

Parked far away. I ordered a cab because it was raining heavily, then he parked far away, no way to contact him, ended up getting wet anyway.

I have used this app for some months and generally, when a taxi is booked it does arrive. The interface of the app is simple and it is easy to make the bookings. The one problem I have faced is that at busy times, taxis are not always available. The app does not notify the user of a taxi running late, or even if it has been allocated. 
Availability of taxis in London is currently a huge issue and very common across all taxi companies operating in the city. While that situation is frustrating, I do not wish to downvote this app because of driver shortages. In the end, when the drivers are available this app is a quick way of quickly making a booking.

Mostly had good experiences with Goldline. The app uses reputable & background-checked local mini cabs (like Bailey Gardiner where I live in Chingford) & you can track your taxi’s location. Not as cheap as Uber but very reliable & reasonable. The only problem I’ve encountered is with trying to pay by card. Sometimes it doesn’t let you so I just use cash.

Hi First of All I’m warning the people who use this app not to use this for the card payments . 

I have paid £60 for booking and they Charged me £78 pounds, Then I call them , They said that the payment has declined, Then I send them my bank account screen shot , After that they have said that they will revert the payment after 7 days , So basically I had to wait 7 days to get my £78 pound back .. 

Even after reading this if you wanna use this service Good Luck

This application doesn’t work unless in a Wi-fi area which is rather pointless when you are out and about

This is the worst cab company I’ve ever known they don’t care about providing a good service just the money and you’ll be wait 30mins minimum for a cab, their drivers are incompetent.. but they’re cheap

Be very careful with Goldline when you register your card on the app. When your looking on the app how many drivers are around it tells 2mins away, the min you request for it they take the payment from your card before you get in the car. And when I called the office they say I have to wait for 30mins and now am still waiting for my refund. It happened twice separate occasion.

Not used this App properly yet, but already I've noticed that it lacks the ability to book a cab by using it. Also, it took ages to register on the App because the text validation service took multiple resend requests to eventually work

Apple Pay is permanently broken for years. No matter what card I try from Apple Wallet the payment fails every single time. They make you either pay directly to the driver or via an external website. What’s the point if Apple Pay integration then? So annoying.

Please note, that the taxi service itself is decent. The app experience is bad.

Very disappointed to have my car - booked days in advance - cancelled 20 mins beforehand. Was really relying on the service. And the reason given was unacceptable. Thought I’d found a service I could trust. I was mistaken.

I booked car night before and had confirmation number. I had indication on the App that car was coming with name and plate details. Suddenly 5 minutes before arrival car ‘disappeared’ from app map. I rang the office/ dispatch number and was told they had no cars available despite booking being confirmed night before. Left us stranded trying to get to a wedding! Luckily Uber ride came to the rescue. I will never use Goldline again. I’m deleting App immediately!

These guys are scam artists. They will charge you « waiting fee » if the driver leaves early on purpose to pick you up at the airport. For example your flights lands at noon, you make booking for 12:45, if the driver arrives at airport at 12:15, they will charge you 30 min waiting fee even if you come out to pick up point on time at 12:45 and they will threaten you to drop you back in middle of ride if you disagree. Disgusting unprofessional behaviour.

Turns out that “fixed price” in the app doesn’t translate to a fixed price for the journey. Won’t use again.

I was conned out of a fair for a booking that they changed my for then cancelled the booking, when I called the firstly said I hadn’t made a booking then after I gave them gave them my reference number they agreed I had made a booking but couldn’t refund my money until a manager was there this was 3 weeks ago and still no refund. The app is quick to take payments even when they have no cars available then they later cancel the bookings with no warning then DO NOT refund your money. To the developer my booking ref is 55231580 if you would like to finally refund my money.... other users beware CON. And apple this app should be removed from AppStore as you are condoning these CON apps.

I am in London E7 and have used Goldline forever
for prebooked airport jobs, and whenever I need a car at Leytonstone. The app works great for prebooking and prepayment. 

I recently prebooked the same pick up from Stansted twice in error. They tried to check if I needed 2 cars but I was in the air so we didn't speak until I Ianded.  Their control were still able to cancel the extra booking and refund me which is great service.

I have been using Goldline for many years and only recently updated and started using the app. I have always preferred Goldline as I know I can rely on them to take me where I need to, if I have connections, stops and returns always best to call in but otherwise I like that I am told of the driver, car details and can track the ride for my children when they use the service. Always friendly staff that are honest about timings, routes etc and care given if needed help with shopping etc.
