When I use this app I’m just working on rhythm and tempo and enjoying my time at the range or putting green. I started at the slowest tempo and have worked my way up to the 144 BPM. The best part is I'm swinging faster but my tempo is still perfect. I watched the videos and read what was available but it doesn’t make sense to me. I picked the right club and a tempo but then it’s just music and someone counting 1,2,3. If a correct swing tempo is 3 :1, wouldn’t you need a 4 count? I also expected an app to help me know what my baseline tempo is. Technically the app seemed to work as designed but maybe it needs additional instruction or something. But huge problem is that I can’t change the BPM to whatever number I want instead of choose from 4 tempos. There should be as many tempos as there are golfers, with me being able to pick where the 1, 2, 3 land as well. I’ve tried several products—metronomes, music that tried to mimic the tempo of the swing— but none match the unique 1—2-3 of the golf swing like Golf BPM. Transition tempo is so critical. Finishing the back swing with a pause at top before starting down is the key for me. Golf BPM uniquely provides that for swings of different tempo AND for the different tempos for all the clubs in the bag. I love it! The more I use it at the practice range the better I am at taking that tempo to the course. Wish It had been available years ago. I didn't understand & appreciate it back then. I deleted and forgot about it. Recently, somehow cannot figure out my driver and the direction was very erratic that I wanted to wear the driver headcover into my head. Then after watching some pros' that effortlessly swing and look weak but their balls still go the distance then I suspected my timing. I immediately re-downloaded this tempo app. I practiced with it and I kept on playing the 144 bpm daily and I saw improvements in my drives consistency to the fairway and somehow gained some yards.
