Even with a cable subscribed network to use. When before those months it was perfectly fine. ### 2/5 — New app needs help *2026-07-01, version 6.3.0* I just updated to a new version of the app on 7/1/26. When playing the live channel or replaying a stream, the video window on my ipad keeps rotating to the wrong perspective. With the ipad in landscape position, the video window is black, (no video displayed). Firstly, it assumes only people based in the US are using it. It defaults to the NBC app necessitating user to have to scroll back to home page. It also doesn’t cover golf event scores consistently. For example DP World tour scores are often not shown. LPGA scores sometimes don’t show detailed round scores. European women tour scores also not shown. Has it yet changed its attitude on LIV? Still no scores. Overall instead of being an all inclusive golf app it’s very much US and PGA tour centric. It had the potential to be the go to app for all things golf if it addresses these issues. ### 1/5 — Why is the new version NBC Sports? *2023-07-08, version 5.4.9* When I open golf channel app my browser says get new version. Then it wants me to go to NBC sports. No more Golf Channel app listed on App Store. Video will only play in portrait mode on my ipad regardless of the actual orientation of my screen. The app remains virtually unusable to watch streaming video. The app will not remain in landscape mode, continuously switching to portrait mode while sitting on a flat surface and not being touched. I am at a loss to understand the app developer’s QC. One again hugely disappointed. This app is hugely disappointing and virtually unusable. The only way to watch golf is in landscape mode. The app will not display video in landscape. How is it possible that the developers of this app do not recognize this? I would love to be able to stream the Golf Channel on my iPad. The only way to watch golf is in landscape mode. The app will not display video in landscape. How is it possible that the developers of this app do not recognize this? I was excited to be able to finally stream GC content across devices, but nothing works like it should. First off, the screen orientation is screwed up when viewing streams on iPad. I try to watch it in landscape and the screen automatically flips to portrait. I have to use orientation lock to get it to stay in the proper format for how I’m holding my screen. Secondly, and maybe this portion should go elsewhere, but I can’t even open a stream on the fire stick. I’m logged in and have access to all content through my tv provider, but when I try to open a steam, It acts like it’s opening, then I get a message saying “something went wrong with fetching media tailor session url!” I’ve tried force closing the app, clearing the cache/data, restarting the device, logging out and back in, and I get the same message no matter what I try. Also can’t airplay from iPad or phone because the app doesn’t allow it. So, despite being excited for this update, nothing that I needed to be changed to make the app a success was changed, so it remains an app I’ll never use. ### 1/5 — Streaming isn’t working *2026-05-24, version 6.1.1* I tried I tried watching rounds on Back to Back days, and on different devices.
