You absolutely cannot win against their fake AI opponents. The opponents always have better clubs better balls. Unless you buy a better club or better balls you’re always going to lose. It is totally rigged. As soon as you start to make progress, they quickly take it away. You just cannot get ahead in this game. It is a complete waste of time and it is unfortunate that the developer thinks that this is fun. Because it is not. They have even gone so far as to write up a whole rules page where they tell you how you cannot cheat this game or you will be disallowed in your account will be terminated blah blah blah. This is such BS. They know that there are no real opponents. It is you the person who downloaded the game and then you’re always playing against their AI. In my humble opinion. I think this game should be taken off the Apple Games site. And then if you actually want to play against a friend oh, let’s try that. No you can’t unless you do it through their portals so you can’t just register with your email address. The game also doesn’t tell you how many yards you are from the hole so you never have a reference point so you’re always in the blind. Something else that’s weird about this game is that normally when you’re trying to do a really long power shot and you’re really pulling back on that ball the needle starts to move really fast because they want to make it harder for you to make that shot but in this game, even if you’re just a couple of yards from the hole and you’re doing an almost no power shot just to get the few yards to the hole, the needle starts moving rapidly, and to me, this is also a rig. It’s always had its good and bad moments. More bad here lately. I don’t think they know their customers. The new Neon course , in my opinion, is nothing more than an attempt to sell more balls. It’s not at all creative, or exciting. It’s quite boring. As a matter of fact the game itself has been in a downward spiral. Couldn’t get any new courses, just warmed over old courses, one right after the other. Then you get a new course and it’s everything you don’t want in a course. Narrow. Very few options and to be certain they sucked the fun out of the game they placed headwind on most of the par 5s and then made quite certain your par 3s were a crosswind. I’m gonna hang my clubs up for a while. The algorithms have gotten so picky and it’s just not fun anymore. It’s almost as though they don’t want the game to go on. ### 1/5 — Game unusable right now *2026-08-17, version 3.4.7* I am semi addicted to this game and have been playing for years. I could complain about the outrageous money grab this game has become. Or the fact that you must buy the never ending stream of money balls EA spits out every other day. Or the vast number of players in master using screen overlays to cheat. But I’ll keep it more basic: 1. Since the last update over a week ago the app fails to load every time I switch accounts requiring me to restart every time. 2. Then the graphics fail to load properly resulting in missing graphics AND TRANSPARENT BALLS. That’s right - I literally cannot see the ball resulting in the inability to aim, accurately curl or over/under power with any precision. Worse, when I go to choose a ball some on my list (and I have a lot) are transparent and some not. Easy right - just pick the ones I can see right? Wrong! It’s like Russian roulette. Just because I can see it on my list doesn’t mean it won’t show up as transparent in game play. So far after a week of complaints tech support is of no help, other than the usual “delete data, restart, reinstall script - which doesn’t work for more than one login. Oh, and they are slow to respond to tickets explaining that they are very busy at the moment.
