It was supposed to include access to coaching in GD schools. Initially I was able to access this feature and I purchased a lesson. I have not been able to review the lesson I paid for or access that portion of GD schools for over a month. I have contacted customer support twice and received a generic response to clear my cache and cookies. I expressed that I was using their app and not the web browser. I also followed their advice and tried to access the service via internet browser, it didn’t work. I emailed two more times and never received a reply on my follow ups. At the very least, do not purchase the All Access subscription and expect to access any of the pro features of GD Schools. ### 1/5 — Cannot Access Features *2023-07-21* I purchased a golf digest all access subscription. It was supposed to include access to coaching in GD schools. Initially I was able to access this feature and I purchased a lesson. At the very least, do not purchase the All Access subscription and expect to access any of the pro features of GD Schools. ### 1/5 — Awful experience *2023-01-06, version 1.2.8* Thought I was going to get the coaches they advertised on Instagram ads those coaches have no content and are an additional fee. Video plays in a tiny window in the app. 2023 and can’t get a video to play in your flagship app correctly- unacceptable and huge let down. I want a refund ### 1/5 — Unusable *2022-12-04, version 1.2.7* Articles don’t load at all. Can’t add any clubs to “My Bag”. Terrible. ### 3/5 — Potential to be great, but…. *2022-11-23, version 1.2.7* The app just doesn’t work properly. Enlarging screen turns it sideways (landscape) but doesn’t expand to fit the screen, and there is no way to flip it - on iPhone it only rotates right (volume buttons down). It also flips back to portrait mode unless phone is held 90*deg to the floor. I see complaints about the ability to read articles from as far back as February, and here in October, it’s unchanged. There is no simple way to get help through the app, either. Videos need the ability to turn on captions and control playback speed. Way to deny accessibility to people who are Deaf/Hard of Hearing, or neurodivergent. Great potential here, but I am soooo underwhelmed. ### 4/5 — Few bugs still need to be worked out. *2022-02-08, version 1.2.4* Love the content but some of the features are not working such as, the read more for descriptions only shows a white screen with nothing in it, the video in full screen only rotates to one side, when in full screen the phone has to be in perfect upright position otherwise the screen rotates back to vertical view and it’s very sensitive to any type of rotation. The login screen has a very small touch point to start typing making you feel like the app is locked up. Would love to see compatibility with chrome cast in the future! Still worth every penny and very satisfied with the content. ### 1/5 — App doesn’t work and customer service is bad *2021-12-23, version 1.2.4* I typically don’t write reviews but I’m hoping that I can save someone else the trouble I’ve had. I paid $150 for a lesson package. I never got any of the three lessons. I contacted the instructor and they cannot even see the videos I uploaded. I was asked to upload another video and the app tells me I’m out of lessons despite having a total of three and I have not used any. I’ve emailed customer support but have not heard back. So In the end, the video content on the app is good. The coaching platform is horrible. The customer service is hard to reach, email is only option, and their communication is nonexistent. ### 3/5 — Ok but expected more *2021-11-08, version 1.2.3* Why am I getting Ad’s when I had to pay for the app? Also there is no way to pickup where you left off with a video. I’ll get a few min into something and want to jump back in later in the day and need to advance the video. Add a recently watched section that saves place of video. ### 2/5 — Oversold, under delivers in several key ways *2021-09-18, version 1.2.1* First of all, ads in a paid app? Really? Gross. Secondly, doesn’t play well with iPad, the main device I want to use it with. Won’t stay in landscape view, for one thing, and videos don’t truly go into full screen mode… there is always a header showing which covers important content at times. Promises “personal, customized fitness routines.” This was the main thing I wanted, golf specific workouts and a great plan. Well, not only does it NOT provide any tool or simple way of creating a routine, half the videos in the fitness area are missing! On top of that, they are out of order and not named correctly in the side bar. It gives you the feeling that it was half way built when somebody in marketing demand it go live, well before it was ready.
