However, when it comes to entering hole-by-hole scores, numbers clear and even holes get skipped. This has been an ongoing issue for at least the past year! It also seems like a simple fix! With that said, FIX IT! 🤨 ### 4/5 — Quirky *2026-08-13, version 19.0* We use the app for our bi-weekly games. Overall works fine except you can enter a players score, go to enter the next players score and the first players score disappears. Also, is live scoring on locked screen still in beta? ### 4/5 — Needs GGID favorites or last used options *2026-07-13, version 18.5* I repeatedly use several GGIDs for a couple groups and have to remember them to switch between the leagues/groups/events. Having the app list the last 5 GGIDs used in a drop down or the ability to favorite GGIDs used would be so helpful for users that are very active in the app. Side note when entering group scores lately if you’re too quick the first players score will not input, it remains blank but skips to the next player as if it was entered and it’s caused confusion with the women I play with who aren’t very good with technology. Seems to be a neeer glitch. ### 4/5 — Awful graphic user interface *2026-06-19, version 18.4* The Gray on Gray for submit score is hard to use and cannot see it without readers terrible for somebody that doesn’t have good eyesight ### 2/5 — Poor Handling of Scrambles *2026-05-17, version 18.2* If a player drops out of a 4-person scramble team, the team handicap index goes DOWN in Golf Genius. In what universe does that make sense? Why would a 3 person team give up more strokes to the full teams? GG blames the USGA by stating that they are following USGA guidelines. That's incorrect. GG implemented the USGA calculation for a 3 person scramble tournament into their calculation for a missing person in a 4 person scramble. Not the same thing boys and girls. I've had a series of chats/email with GG support. After several times repeating their canned response to this obviously repeat question, one support staff told me he'd escalate the issue. I heard nothing back. Our leagues have had to work around by giving mulligans to 3-person teams. Still a sore spot in league play and a constant critique of Golf Genius by members. ### 1/5 — Such a bad app *2026-05-08, version 18.2* This app is so bad. The only reason I use it is because my golf club decided to force us to use it for events and registration. You can never find events and leader boards. The main problem is that it will completely drain the battery in your Apple Watch over a four hour round and put a significant dent in your phone battery as well.
