Using this app to gauge yardage at my local driving range. The range has flags at various yardages and the GPS gives the distance you are from the flag. Each flag is a hole on the app. The problem I am having is the buttons are too small to move between flags. I have an iPhone 12 mini. I can use the back arrow to go back on previous flags, but it is almost impossible to press the forward button to cycle through holes(flags). Update: the app no longer works. Nothing loads on my iPhone 15. The screen spins like it is looking for local courses and doesn’t load anything. Update: I uninstalled and reinstalled the app and it is working well! I am not experiencing any of the issues above.

I liked this app better before the updated version.  It is so slow to respond to the touch screen selections now, so requires multiple taps.  And the settings I saved such as displaying temp in Fahrenheit and distance in yards has never actually saved despite trying many times.  I must go in manually each time to change distance from meters to yards.  I wouldn’t consider this an upgrade.

Once again a kid on a Schwinn Bike out of college who has zero idea of how to play golf decided he could make the app better. EPIC FAILURE!!!!! Used this for years and paid for the premium and it was well with it…then. Now…completely unusable!! Well done. Never change a good thing…it never works.

Can’t update profile. No matter what phone number I enter I am asked to enter a valid phone number. App does not move from hole to hole on my phone watch. I have to constantly restart and scroll to the next hole.

I downloaded today and played two nines (play started on 10). The app tracks shots and saves distance… except when the screen times out or to accidentally tap anywhere else on the screen while carrying the phone. I’ve lost 1/2 of the yardages today because of this defect. And then multiple times during the round the app crashed and I had to reopen and hope my round progress was somehow saved. Finicky and unreliable.

I’ve given this new version a year and recently uninstalled this app. 

The saying goes, “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it”. Unfortunately they tried to fix something that was not broken and it hasn’t worked out.

All of the courses in Great Falls start at the same place in the field. Then it goes to what looks like the first hole. It indicates it is about 1700 yards.  I don’t know about you but I am never going to play a course that’s 14,000 yards.

Previous version I paid for was bad , this version is much worst. So buggy, ie can’t move to next hole with gps only mode. Work around is to use score mode. Anther issue is Default putts should be 2, with out having to specify ever hole, not 1 or zero putts as it is now.

Was nice to see FreeCaddie upgrade…. Has always been a nice easy and very accurate …but with new upgrade it has become useless yardages are WAY OFF by 50 to 100 yards 😕…. Time to look for a different APP option

I’ve been using this app at home and abroad for years now and it’s an amazing free alternative to fancy GPS trackers that cost £££. Highly recommend.

This is the best Golf GPS app!  Don’t listen to the haters.

I have the pro version and love the views, ability to zoom in on targets, keep score for the entire group, etc.  

If you stick with the free version you can still get front middle back, hazards, scoring, etc.  

I like how simple it is compared to all the others, and I’ve tried many.  GolfLogix is an old expensive pig of a program.  Grint and 18 birdies are great but considerably more expensive and obsessed with being like InstaFaceTweetChat.  I don’t need or want my golf gps to be a social networking platform.  Just give me accurate distances and everything else is a bonus.  

Bottom line.  If you’re 16 and want to post pictures of your swing and get comments from others on every shot then go somewhere else; when you grow up, you’ll use this.

I love this app. Only wish it had Apple Watch support. I use it every round. People will shoot the distance with a range finder, this app is always spot on with those. Five stars no question

This App is very simple to use and in its basic form gives accurate distances to the front, centre and back of the green; which for most purposes is all you need. You can also enter Information for your own course if not listed by going to the web site. If you pay a bit extra for the pro version you get to see satellite images of the course plus other extras. It's worth doing. Finally, the customer service for this app is first class.
