Have received no updated response regarding this matter that I requested via email over a week ago. ### 4/5 — Excellent and very readable *2025-08-31* Excellent magazine. Only thing they could really improve on is to add more articles to help senior and super senior players and players recovering fro injuries. ### 2/5 — This is better but.... *2021-01-16, version 7.4.0* The new app is good in that articles on the website are easily viewed, but again it wipes out the issues you have downloaded. Not only do you have to download the issues again, I lost issues as the app only goes back a year. I have subscribed since 2014, the older version at least allowed me to download the issues since they discontinued the older app in 2018, but now I cannot go back farther than one year!!!! I purchased 1 issue of this rag yesterday and today it won’t let me access it. The ratings show it’s rated at 1 star but how can that be when you purchase it can’t get in to read it. It’s worthless, so my rating is zero stars. Tried to send it with zero stars and you can’t do that. You have to put at least 1 star. A few iterations ago, the digital magazine worked with zero issues. It was simply a PDF within the app. Not sure why you can’t simply do that. The more interactive you make the digital magazine, the more useless this is. I just want to read my magazine on my iPad. They sent me to Golf Magazine. The app support people responded with the fantastic advice to “quite” the app and restart it. Really! Never thought of that. Never heard back from them. Their support probably moonlights as the fake IRS. A complete joke. ### 1/5 — Didn’t think it could get worse! *2019-11-27* I’ve had trouble with Golf’s app for the past year. The past year the app has been terrible. I saw they updated and it’s going to be better🤣. Now it just doesn’t work. I like to have the magazine on my iPad when traveling so I’m not carrying around magazines in print form. I was hopeful but ended wasting time. I even called Golf Magazine in hopes I was doing something wrong. App just spins and spins. ### 1/5 — Terrible service. *2023-07-17* I’ve been a subscriber for many years, I used to love reading David Fehrety. I miss his writing still. But that’s not why I’m upset with Golf Mag. In recent years, I’ve had to report numerous missing issues, which customer service said they would add to the end of my subscription. I always seemed to receive the issue the following month, if it did happen to arrive at all. The final straw, in Dec, they auto renewed my subscription for 2023, I received the first three issues, then nothing. I reviewed my account details, and apparently I don’t have one. I’m still receiving the digital version, but not the magazine. I called customer service and they said I didn’t have a subscription and to call my credit card company and report the issue as fraud. When I asked to discuss the matter with a customer service supervisor I was told they were too busy to talk with me. The only fraud is from Golf magazine. ### 1/5 — App Will Not Sync Current Issues *2022-05-06* This app will NOT sync latest issue in a timely manner. Unlike Golf Digest, where the printed issue and digital issue release at the same time, in the week or two prior to issue month, the digital issue of Golf doesn’t become available until end of the issue month at best. It’s been like this for a while now, and customer service is not helpful at explaining why. ### 1/5 — Poor updates *2022-03-04* Lags 2 weeks behind print edition to get newest issue. Thought it would be better especially when you are pre-paying over $30 annually ### 1/5 — Very poor performing app *2021-03-23* Pales in comparison to Golf Digest app. Seems to fight my iPad in terms of page orientation. I’ll try it every couple of months or so and end up getting frustrated. Since iOS 14.4 app randomly closes. App repeatedly makes you sign in when attempting to use. Past issues is a deal breaker. Customer service emails back stating not their fault, it’s Golf Magazine’s fault because they only allowed the app company access to a few issues. Doesn’t matter who’s fault it is, it’s broken...period. Will not renew. When I called Golf Magazine they had no way to help me since forgot password was not on t the sign in screen. They gave me an iTunes phone number and they said Golf Magazine should help me since they are not involved with passwords. I have no idea why my sign in failed and no one can help me. Golf Magazines and ITunes have a real communication problem. What a mess. Second time I have written. Nobody cares and no help! My only solution seems to be cancel Golf Magazine and continue with Golf Digest. I have never seen a worst app and people who can’t or won’t help. Disgusting. Third review. Still worst app I have ever seen and worst customer service.
