■ Play against the CPU You can now pick an opponent to go round with. The CPU does not roll dice for a score — it actually plays the same course you do, one shot at a time. It finds the water, it hits it out of bounds, and it struggles on the hard holes just like you. - Match play (free) Head to head, hole by hole. The match ends once it cannot be caught, and the result reads properly as "3&2". - Tournament (paid plan) Total strokes against one to three CPU players — you choose how many. Three difficulty levels, each with three opponents who play differently. Their balls appear on the course map while you play, and their scores sit alongside yours on the scorecard. Every player's score is shown at the end of each hole, with a replay of the CPU shots that you can skip. ■ Rebuilt club settings You start with ten clubs — 1W, 3W, 5I, 6I, 7I, 8I, 9I, PW, AW and SW — and one button registers all 22 from 1W to SW. Renaming a club now shows that name everywhere: on the play screen and in the analysis tab (previously the stock clubs kept their factory labels). Registering the same club twice is no longer possible. You can delete every club if you want to, but you need at least one to start a round. ■ A tidier play screen Course selection now runs in the order you actually think in — what to play, which course, then start — so the start button no longer sits buried under settings. Tee, pin position and wind have moved into "More settings", which shows your current choices on a single line even while collapsed. ■ Other fixes - The wind direction and speed at the top of the screen could go missing during a match. Fixed. - On holes where the OB stakes run into the water, the drop after a penalty could land in the water itself, leaving you to play from the pond. Fixed. - Returning to the play screen after finishing a round offered to resume it. Fixed.
