## What is Golf Scorecard,Points,Wildcard?

LiveScores Golf - Golf-Score,Points & Wildcard is the straightforward golf scorecard app built for your weekly golf group. Stop passing
around a crumpled paper card and use a digital golf scorecard where one person manages the scores
while everyone else watches the leaderboard update live on their own phones. It's the easiest way to
keep everyone in your league or friendly foursome in sync from the first tee to the last putt, with no
confusion.
Ultimate Group Golf Scorecard
• Designate a single player as the official scorekeeper to enter scores for the entire group, eliminating
the classic confusion and "who has the card?" moments between holes.
• Provide every single player in your group with instant access to view the live, updating leaderboard
and hole-by-hole scores on their own device simply by opening the app.
• Automatically track every par-or-better score recorded on each hole, making it easy to see who is
playing a great round and celebrate the best shots of the day.
• Replace your messy, hard-to-read paper card with a clean, simple digital golf scorecard that everyone
in the foursome or league can see and follow along with.
Run Your Weekly Games Automatically
• Easily set up a classic Points game, more commonly known as Skins, that automatically tracks winners
based on hole-by-hole performance after the round is complete.
• Launch an exciting Wildcard game, a fun Poker Hand format that uses scores from a randomly
generated selection of holes to determine the winner for a different kind of challenge.
• Let the app do all the heavy lifting and complex math by calculating the final results for these popular
group games, saving you valuable time and preventing manual errors.
• Simplify the often-chaotic post-round payout process with clear, consolidated results, making it easy
to manage any friendly wagers or remuneration your group plays for.
Effortless Management for Coordinators
• Consolidate all player scores from your group instantly and in one place, ending the tedious need to
manually collect and tally up multiple paper scorecards after the round.
• Review a complete and detailed summary of the day's play and accurately rank all participants,
providing a clear overview for weekly league standings or game payouts.
• Free up your valuable time as the group coordinator or league manager, allowing you to focus more
on playing your own game and enjoying the day with your friends.
• Use a reliable and focused digital golf scorecard built from the ground up to handle the specific needs
of weekly golf groups and the people who organize them.
Simple & Accurate Course Setup
• Manually enter the correct par value for all 18 holes to ensure the app's calculations perfectly match
the specific challenges and layout of the course you're playing today.
• Adjust all scoring details based on the specific set of tee boxes your group is using for the round, which
guarantees total scoring accuracy for every player in the group.
• Guarantee that all your game formats and leaderboards calculate properly by starting your round with
a correctly configured and detailed course layout in the app.
How LiveScores - Golf-Score,Points & Wildcard Golf Works
• First, the group coordinator enters the course data manually, setting the par for each hole and selecting
the tee boxes to be used for the round.
• During play, one designated person enters the scores for every player in the group hole by hole, keeping
everything updated in one central place.
• Any player in the group can open the app on their own phone at any time to see the live leaderboard
and check on their standing or their friends' scores.
• After the final putt, the app consolidates all scores and calculates the results for any side games like
Skins or Poker Hand, declaring the winners.
LiveScores Golf is built for the weekly golf group, the friendly company league, and the dedicated
coordinator tasked with managing it all.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 2.13.2 — 2026-10-13

Logo added

### 2.13.0 — 2026-09-24

Allows Wildcard partners to be available after the round to be added, allows Organizer to add, delete, change players from group to group during play to assist players showing up late, cancelling etc.. after round created

### 2.0.10 — 2026-09-17

Cleaned up images and colour schemes to match our logos, minor testing completed on Wildcard / Partners to ensure completeness

### 2.09 — 2026-09-15

Minor bug fixes with league names
1. Courses shared across app modes
Course templates are now a single global library — any course you save shows up in both "Just 1 round" and "Track multiple rounds" mode (and across all leagues).
The "Save as course template" button and the tap-to-load templates now appear in every mode (previously hidden in single-round mode).

2. Random Partners for Wild Card
New Random Partners toggle on the Create Round screen, right under Wild Card.
When on, a "Draw partners" button appears on the Wild Card screen after the round. It randomly pairs everyone into 2-player teams (an odd player joins one team as a trio), and you can re-draw anytime.
Each team is ranked by the best hand of its two partners, with the team winner shown above the individual hands.

### 2.0.8 — 2026-09-14

Feature Added: Edit a Player's Handicap Mid-Round
You can now change a player's handicap after a round has started — no need to remove and re-add them.

Where: On the Scorecard screen, each player now shows a tappable HCP value (with a small pencil icon). Tapping it opens an "Edit handicap" popup with +/− steppers and a number field.
Who: Only the locked scorer / organizer can edit — view-only devices can't (enforced on the backend too).
Live recalculation: Saving instantly updates the Net leaderboard.
Saved for next time: The new handicap is also written back to the player's saved profile, so it carries into future rounds.

Feature Added: Per-Hole Handicap (Stroke Index) Setup
You can now set each hole's difficulty ranking (the "hole handicap" / stroke index) right when you set up the scorecard — a one-time job per course.

Where: In the "Set Pars & Hole Handicap" section on the New Round screen, each hole now has a small HCP box next to its par.
Pre-filled: New courses start at 1, 2, 3… in hole order so it always works — just adjust the ones you want.
Validated: Each hole must have a unique number from 1 to your hole count. Duplicates or blanks turn red and block creating the round until fixed.
Set once: These indexes save with the course template and reload in one tap next week, and they now correctly drive how net strokes are allocated on the leaderboard.
