Good for getting strokes gained info. Would be nice if it was satellite map based rather than fake map. Easier to place shots relative to landmarks that way. Also would be nice to see all tee boxes regardless of chosen tee box. Some courses have no fairway or no green which skews the data. 

Putting in penalty shots seems challenging as well.

Greens autorotate when putting which is pretty annoying.

### 1/5 — Low quality app, not worth paying for

This app is just poorly made. The software company Broadie partnered with should be ashamed. 

It's very sloppy. There are typos. The tutorial doesn't load the visuals. Nothing is intuitive. 

They need to go back to the drawing board. For something that costs $100/year, the quality should be WAY better. It is a bad look that they charge for an app of this quality.

It used to be perfect. No frills, easy data entry, gave you all the insights you’d want from a strokes gained app.  Unusable after the refresh. I wish there was an option to go back to the old version.

Frequently, after finishing entering all my shots for 18 holes, I’ll confirm the submission, but when I review the data, several holes will be completely missing. So I have to go back in and enter all those shots again. Frustrating.

I tried multiple times and the app would crash after one hole. Submitted error through the app and didn’t get a response. Unable to restart the round where the app crashed and would crash when “edit round” was selected.

You know it’s a bad sign when you can’t even get logged into the app the first time. I went through the initial part of putting in my info, name, email, etc. Then the app freezes and won’t let me tap “get started”. I got the email from golf metrics welcoming me. So I close out the app and go back in and log on. It takes me back to putting my information in, but when I get to email it says it is already in use. So I close the app and log back in. Same thing. Close the app and try to start like a new account, same thing. So I’m in an endless loop of not being able to even log in and get started. I wanted to try this app based on hearing about it on “Chasing Scratch”, but after this experience and seeing other terrible reviews since the app made an overhaul, I guess I won’t be using it.

More than a year ago, Broadie’s app was the best golf stats app on the planet. But it was manual numbers enrty, very old school. Then they switched to a visual entry system, and ever since the app has been terrible. I just went back in after several months, started a round and could not place my first shot on the hole. I’m done.

I have used this app, and its predecessor for years and up until a month ago it was awesome. Unfortunately when I logged in last month there appears a paywall that doesn’t work no matter which option I selected. This has made the app unusable. I’ve reached out via the app and instagram and utilized the help menu but haven’t gotten a reply in 5 weeks. I can still see all my data but can’t enter new rounds. It’s very surprising as the response time used to be excellent.

This app is back! It was down and out after trying to be fancy and cool with its gps features. It’s now rock solid. Manual data entry is easy and quick and great breakdown of results.
