I called GolfNow then they gave me $20 promo code. Extremely frustrating ### 4/5 — Bug Report *2026-08-14, version 6.7.0* Since you don’t have an option to report a bug I’m doing so here. The course review page has a glitch that only allows to give one rating between all of the available fields (overall, course conditions, staff friendliness, etc). As soon as a star is selected for a second field the first disappears. ### 4/5 — App crashes continuously *2026-08-13, version 6.7.0* I absolutely love the app and have the paid version, but I’ve had a recurring issue that’s becoming pretty frustrating. Over the past couple of months, I’ve had to delete and reinstall the app about six times because it will get stuck on the “GN” loading screen and completely freeze. I’m using the newest iPhone, and I don’t experience this issue with any other apps, so it seems like there may be an issue with the app itself. I really enjoy using the app and would appreciate it if this could be looked into. ### 4/5 — Getting Better *2026-07-29, version 6.6.0* This was my first time using a golf tee times booking app in 20y. The app worked well at the start, then a few glitches started to occur in a several areas, mainly in the course search section. I stopped using the app due to frustration. But the app has continually been improving since then, functionality/glitches have been resolved. Overall the app UI is well laid out, constant improvements are being implemented along with the discounts/promo offered makes it an app I will continue to use. ### 2/5 — GolfPass/GolfNow *2026-07-20, version 6.6.0* I’m a member of a golf Pass. Great stuff! ### 1/5 — BROKEN AGAIN!!! *2026-07-05, version 6.5.1* It logged me out and gave me an error. I tried logging in but it didn’t accept my email nor password. I hit reset password but got nothing back in the email. After a time I managed to sign in but now, again, can’t see the reviews and it just shows an Ad. What is wrong with GolfNow. There is also no way to actually contact customer service for such App or Web problems, they conveniently have no way to get a hold of anybody about it. Still broken!!! And now it acts like the TeeOff app, where if you click on a course and take a quick look at the times and then hit Back, when you go back to the list of courses it’s gone way ahead instead of taking you back to where you were, and then trying to scroll back up to where you were on the list it is not a smooth scroll at all. So annoying. And it still has the glitch where it shows the tee time but then gives you the message that it’s not available and there’s an error. I keep trying to book the time because it keeps showing the same time over and over and it just gives you the same message that says the tee time is not available. Well why don’t you REMOVE that tee time if it’s booked???? How can the system be this bad???? It’s 2026, and it’s still doing it!!!!! Today it would not let me select the stars to leave a review. Why do they have such problems??? ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Data Privacy Breach *2026-08-05, version 6.7.0* I successfully used the app for 4+ years. One day the account stop working and my credit card was being charged for other tee times across the country. GolfNow support was unable to get my account back and my gift card credits ($300+) back. They said they’d look in to it. All they could do is say your phone number and email is now on another account. They could see my data on another account, could not access it, and did nothing to protect it or help me at 7 phones calls and emails to support. I am out my account payment and credits. ### 1/5 — No live agents anymore? *2026-08-05, version 6.7.0* Going downhill!! ### 1/5 — Misleading - impossible to use GN gift cards that are loaded on my account. *2026-07-23, version 6.6.0* I selected the $144 gift card balance as payment method but when I booked for 3 golfers it charged my credit card on file. VERY ANNOYING. IF I CAN EVER FIGURE OUT HOW TO USE THE CRSIT I HAVE I will never by another GN gift card. ### 1/5 — Business Model is suspect *2026-07-22, version 6.6.0* The app/website doesn’t work when you want to edit number of golfers to be fewer well ahead of time and as a result it is a death spiral to get a refund where GN says the golf course owes the refund and the golf course says GN is responsible. Just too much hassle when you are supposed to be golfing not chasing down refunds. App is getting deleted. ### 1/5 — Use of Credits *2026-07-21, version 6.6.0* I have $150 credit on my account. Why did it not use my credit. Also did not realize credits expire within 90 days. So I received a response to this review with still no way to communicate with Golf Now. And no explanation of why my credit was not used during checkout. Even worse experience now. Why not refund my credit card? I spent the credit and they still charged my credit card. ### 1/5 — Charged Booking Fee *2026-07-21, version 6.6.0* It’s disappointing that GolfPass+ only waives booking fees for 12 reservations per year. The main reason many golfers pay for this membership is to avoid booking fees, especially those of us who play frequently. Limiting one of the membership’s biggest benefits feels like it defeats the entire purpose of subscribing. On top of that, removing the GolfPass VIP+ membership only makes the value proposition even weaker. Loyal customers who golf the most are the ones being penalized by these restrictions. I hope GolfPass listens to its members and reconsiders these changes. If you’re charging people for a membership designed for avid golfers, the benefits should actually support those who play often, not limit them. Please bring back the unlimited booking fee waivers or significantly increase the limit, and consider restoring the VIP+ membership. These changes would go a long way toward rebuilding customer trust and making GolfPass+ worth the cost again. Also, Golfnow does not pay the shop on those Hotdeal so why do we need to pay booking fee on hotdeal? Clubs have been telling me that they don't get paid on those hotdeal at all. ### 1/5 — worst golf app - horrible dark pattern *2026-07-20, version 6.6.0* Worst customer service and deceitful refund policy. GolfNow is running a terrible service. Please read this and DO NOT USE GOLFNOW APP so you don't lose your money 1)Forced credit refund : They refuse to refund your original payment method and trap your money as "Golfnow Credit" 2)Ridiculous restrictions : I have over $110 in credit, but I cannot use it for regular bookings. It is stricktly restricted to "Hot Deals". 3)No usable tee times : The Hot Deal times are only in the early morning weekdays and rare in weekend. I cannot use my credit for the time I actually want. 4)Horrible support : In-app live chat is non existent. I waited 40minutes to talk to someone over the phone and she offered absolutely no help. Golf Now literally held my money hostage. This app is full of dark patterns designed to deceive users. Avoid at all costs. I canceled my reservation immediately after realizing I had made a mistake, yet there was no flexibility or meaningful assistance.
