The app now follows your round more reliably. It moves to the next hole when you actually get there, stays put while you finish the one you are on, and no longer changes holes while you are looking at the map or watching a 3D flyover. Browsing ahead to another hole no longer moves your round. To play holes out of order, tap the hole while you are standing on it. Also fixed: resuming a round keeps your place, and shots are matched to the right hole more accurately. ### 1.5.1900 — 2026-08-02 MORE RELIABLE SWING CAPTURE Your Apple Watch now notices if swing detection quietly stops mid-round and restarts it on its own, so a round no longer ends up with holes missing their shots. SHOTS LAND ON THE RIGHT HOLE The hole your shots are recorded against now follows where you are actually playing, not the hole you happen to be looking at. Browsing the scorecard, skipping a hole, or not entering a score no longer sends shots to the wrong hole. SHARPER PUTT DETECTION Putts are recognised more accurately near the green, only the strongest suggestion is offered when several are close together, and low-confidence ones fade rather than clutter the map. MORE ACCURATE ON-COURSE DISTANCES Distances, hazard readouts and AI caddy suggestions now use a tighter live position, so the numbers match what you see on the map. New per-round sensitivity controls let you fine-tune detection from the stroke editor.
