I was very impressed with the accuracy of the distance while practicing while comparing it to what I know my distances to be about. The longer irons were better than the short irons and wedges. I think once the ball rises to a certain height it is more difficult for the device to read. I also tried making a wedge matrix and was very surprised with the accuracy of my 1/4 and 1/2 swing distances. The app was also very consistent with my numbers. When I ran into issues with launch angle, I reached out to Igor and team and they jumped on a zoom call to help. The integration to E6 is flawless. It can be finicky about ball placement but anytime I had an issue Igor and his tram reached out and rectified every time. Don’t use. Thank you the clarification. Unfirtunately I deleted the app after discovering the price. It is also more unfortunate that I didn’t experience your app first hand. I'm sorry to hear you're disappointed about the pricing for our app. We try to be as clear as possible in our messaging, but we've obviously missed the mark somewhere. To clarify, GolfTrak does have a free tier that you can use ongoing. You get access to up to 5 swings per day with full PRO features, including session review, video replays, and access to the GolfTrak Portal. After that, the app remains free, but shows a reduced set of data per shot. It sounds like we didn’t make that clear enough upfront, and that’s something we’re actively working on improving. If you believe you were charged incorrectly, you can request a refund directly through Apple: It's really simple to complete. 1. Sign in to reportaproblem.apple.com. 2. Tap or click “I’d like to”, then choose “Request a refund”. 3. Find the GolfTrak subscription you were charged for and choose the reason you would like a refund. Apple takes about 24-48 hours to respond. We’re a small team, (also based in Australia) building this from the ground up, and we genuinely try to give every user a great, personal experience. Feedback like this hits us harder at this stage, but it also helps us spot where things aren’t clear and push to improve. Not worth it **Developer response:** Hi, That sounds frustrating, especially after spending that much time trying to get it working. If it only picked up one shot and didn’t read it properly, something clearly wasn’t right with the setup or conditions. The app should be giving you consistent results, so we missed the mark there. Tracking can be sensitive to factors like lighting, camera position, and background, and we’re continuing to improve its reliability across different environments. Pretty straightforward to use. You get 5 free fully tracked shots a day. Paid options give you access to GS Pro and E 6 Connect. I have not used shot vision but i think you have to pay to try, and i don’t think they give you simulator access. I have had trouble with the golf boy app accuracy, and I have not bought their tripod, so this app stands out as the best option in my opinion.
