It has minimal features, a great aesthetic, and it functions perfectly as designed. The singing bowl strikes aren’t harsh and you can really focus on them as they attenuate into silence, if that’s part of your practice in a given day. These features make GongMaster an excellent and elegant timer that will meet most people’s needs. I would like to be able to set up a meditation time of three, four, or five hours duration and set a single, non-repeating intermediate gong to occur at a time of my choosing. As it is, GongMaster limits the overall meditation time to 60 minutes, and the intermediate gong is a repeating gong only. So, it doesn’t quite fill all my meditation timer needs.
