I’m a graduate student, and I play the game to unwind and relax. However, I find it really hard to advance to new landscapes and dogs without putting hours and hours into the game, which I don’t have. I still only have one landscape and two dogs, and it just gets stale after awhile. It makes me not want to play it for more than a few minutes at a time because it’s more of the same. That said, I was experiencing the same lock issue on loading mentioned in other reviews. I uninstalled and reinstalled and that fixed that problem. But now the app crashes every time I take a photo. Given that’s one of my current daily goals (to take 3 pics) that is extremely problematic. Love the Dog Rates social media accounts. Hope the game issues get fixed so the app is up to that standard. ### 2/5 — Grrrr *2017-10-31* The idea behind the game is awesome and the art is amazing but holy heck if this game had a face I'd punch it, the controls are all over the place and the second I started playing I hated it, it's not like flappy bird where you get frustrated and want to try again it just makes you want to uninstall and stop playing instantly. Good work on the art design though I love that side of it! Latest upgrade has new features like daily challenges, kennels, sticker packs, new hats, and dog treats that make me want to play more. Developer was super responsive when users reported issues, applying fixes to squash the bugs.
