It is not updated frequently enough and this week still featured at least one restaurant that sadly closed months ago. It is incredibly slow in use. It also offers a method for redeeming member perks that appeared not to work at all when at the restaurant in question yesterday. C’mon folks, this is embarassing. Put some work in, or don't have an app. ### 1/5 — Furious *2025-07-24, version 1.7.0* I have only just downloaded the app and paid for a year’s membership to discover that this app is just one hundred percent inefficient. It has taken 2 hours of my time, attached an incorrect email to my google account, forced me to creat passwords over and over again, refused to open, and tried to force me to download a typeface!! Strictly amateur production. Feels chaotic and insecure. Have yet to successfully negotiate within the app. What a pity. The newsletter is very interesting which encouraged me to join. Maybe a bit of professional joining is needed here before the organisation loses credibility. ### 1/5 — Pathetic app *2025-07-18, version 1.7.0* Simply routes to the very slow website. ### 1/5 — Disappointed *2025-05-15, version 1.7.0* The online guide is a pathetic mess and so disappointing compared to the original book. My most recent attempt was to find a vegetarian restaurant; the guide offered one - in the entire country! ### 1/5 — Stopped working recently *2025-04-20, version 1.5.0* I have supported this app since it started but just recently all email links and these within the app just brings up a list of local bakeries. This of course renders it close to useless for regular use. This started happening in the last few weeks so can’t be related to the app version as it hasn’t been updated in months. It is a pity and TBH it won’t be losing before I cancel any subscription I have to it. ### 1/5 — ‘Bad’ doesn’t cover it *2024-12-03, version 1.5.0* > This app is utterly horrendous - it feels like it has been ‘done on the cheap’ with developers that evidently don’t ‘use’ the app beyond basic testing. It’s buggy, slow, just generally annoying to use. I paid £1 for 6 months during Black Friday, cancelled renewal within 5 minutes - I’ll give it 6 months to improve and will perhaps reconsider, but I’m not holding out much hope. Releasing an app in this state is nothing short of damaging to your brand - it’s quite laughable that anyone actually approved this to be released. It’s like you all thought ‘that’ll do’ - but I’m afraid it won’t. Probably like most other people, I went and downloaded a competitor’s app. ### 1/5 — Money stealing scam - No clear method to cancel subscription *2024-10-09, version 1.4.0* Scam app - No clear method stated to cancel subscription anywhere on app Or website. ### 1/5 — Trying to register with no success! *2024-07-25, version 1.3.0* Been trying to register for days. Can’t create an account. Basic flaw! ### 1/5 — Location services and searching make it unusable *2024-04-27, version 1.2.0* Terrible app; what’s it does not search accurately based on location.
