This is a great (graphing) calculator app.  It can do several different types of graphs, even implicit ones (like x^2 + y^2 = 1).  The free version is also good, it's exactly like the paid version except it can't do all the graph types.  It also has a built-in, full-featured calculator, which evaluates entire expressions (can't live without it!).  It's not as powerful as some, but overall, it's a great app.  Worth every penny.

(Update: Still love/use this mother trucker. I took Calculus III this year, and this program has been great for 3-d visualizations.) Fantastic app. I've had the PRO version for years now and love it. As a math major, it's a great tool to have in my pocket. Still keeping my fingers crossed for 2D and 3D integration!

This has been the best graphing calculator i have found. It actually graphs all functions and other equations properly (most don't). It also makes finding the intercepts and max/min easy to do plus gives the slope/derivative. Also i like the equation solvers. Very nicely done app.

I like this calculator. I find it indisposable to have a tape history of calculations. I paid for full version just to get one more additional row of output space that the ad was taking up. All-in-all well done.

I got what I paid for, a $1.99 calculator. I've been using a ti-84 for a couple years now and have become quite acquainted with it. It took me 20 minutes just to figure out how to enter a graphing formula. I just don't have a week or two to dedicate toward TRYING to figure this calculator out...Keep the two bucks, I'll spend the money to get a new TI.

As a trained teacher I use this app continually. It is a powerful aid to rapidly convey critical concepts. People learn visually and conceptually. However, many maths texts are overloaded with theory and not enough visual content. My students all love it! Only two critiques: 1) It would be good if the 3D graphing mode allowed the xyz axes to be moved around out of centre (like in the 2D) mode. 2) it would be good to see much more calculus functionality; particularly integration.

Would be great, just need to fix...
- stops music on startup and input function
- no cotangent function (one of the major trigonometric functions)
- arbitrary approximations instead of accurate values when tracing or finding intersections (eg instead of 0 it might say 2.927e-08)
- lacks y-values on odd root functions that should be there (eg cubic root graph has no y-values in the negative domain)

I like the ability to copy and paste during entry. When I did the last update I lost all my formulas. The 2D view needs finer lines and grids to match my display resolution - or a choice of line widths. When I print 2D, it is too murky and low quality unlike other similar apps that prints excellent. The 3D lines are excellent. Other than that I'd give it a 5 star.

It's a great app for graphing whatever equation someone thinks of, but some simple functionalities would be of good help. For example, labels for each equation, or the option to group the equations. I hope to see these kind of improvements.

I have been using GoodGrapher pro since the iPod Touch gen 4 - and I have never used any other calculator app ever since. It is superb. If I could ask for one new feature it would be the ability to write custom functions (as it looks like the developer is not making updates). I cannot give this higher praise than 10 plus years of use.

This app is my go to calculator for doing any calculations more complex than simple two number operations. Being able to group operations with parentheses, replay calculations, and edit them is super useful.

Hope updates can allow the user to set the resolution.  It may sometimes slow rendering, but occasionally one needs very high resolution.
