## What is GOOD HENRO?

GOOD HENRO is a walking companion for the Shikoku Henro, the 1,200 km pilgrimage to 88 temples around Shikoku, Japan. Plan your days, walk with confidence, and ask us anything, in your language.

The whole 1,200 km. One map.
- All 88 temples and the henro-michi trails on one map, with elevation
- Henro route data licensed from the Henro-michi Preservation Association

A day-by-day plan for a walking henro
- Set your dates and walking pace, and the app turns the 88 temples into a day-by-day plan
- Realistic walking times from temple to temple, and help finding a place to stay each night
- Change a day along the way, and the rest of the plan adjusts to match

Navigation that works offline
- Mountain passes and coastal roads don't always have signal. Your route and directions to the next temple keep working offline
- Distance, elevation gain, pace and arrival time, recorded as you walk

Message us, in your language
- Lodging, the henro itself, your plans ahead: ask the AI or the GOOD HENRO team from inside the app, and we'll answer in your language
- Answered by the GOOD HENRO team, based in Naruto at the start of the route

Made in Shikoku
GOOD HENRO runs GOOD HENRO HOSTEL in Naruto, where the pilgrimage begins, just a short walk from Temple 1. We keep updating the app based on what pilgrims tell us, face to face.

We won't tell you how to walk your Henro. That part is yours.
