Nicht, dass man sich nicht informieren sollte, was in der Welt geschieht. Allerdings sind wir heute überwiegend auf Negativität fokussiert. Das schlägt nicht nur aufs Gemüt, sondern verzerrt auch die Wahrnehmung der Realität. Seit einigen Monaten hab ich die Good News App installiert und als Abwechslung zum alltäglichen Wahnsinn, bereitet sie mir unglaublich viel Freude und zaubert mir ein Lächeln ins Gesicht. Etwas, was wir viel zu selten tun! Allein die Schlagzeilen in den Benachrichtigungen zu lesen, hilft mir enorm weiter, auch wenn ich zugegebenermaßen nicht alle Artikel lese. This morning I read about California’s new textile recycling law!! That is good news since we have microfibers even in our drinking water. That article even had a link in it to another key article of macro textile waste showing mounds of clothing dumped in a Chilean desert. Though I was sorry to learn this I am glad to be aware of it. With “Good News” I can see the positive effects of environmental activism, given positive laws being enacted!! They should focus on overall good news stories that everyone can get behind. If it had been a story about underserved women getting more access to healthcare it would have been great, but when you celebrate a hot button issue like abortion where there are two distinct sides and no one is willing to compromise or agree on some common sense guidelines, you lose credibility as a true non biased, non political “good news” app ### 1/5 — Heavy Leftist Political Slant *2020-06-22* Heavily biased toward one perspective when it should be politically free or at least neutral. ### 1/5 — Wish app reflected website! *2020-05-14* I love the website!!!!
