Good News reads the day's news so you don't have to. Every night we go through hundreds of headlines from Reuters, the BBC, The Guardian, ScienceDaily, Smithsonian and dozens of other newsrooms, and we throw almost all of them out. What survives the filter is waiting for you in the morning: scientific discoveries, medical advances, environmental wins, sporting achievements, things people did for each other. No partisan politics, no crime, no sensationalism, no clickbait. It isn't an infinite feed. It has a beginning and an end. When you finish it, we send you on your way. ———————————————— WHAT YOU GET • Good Score. Every story carries a 0–100 rating of its real impact: how many people it benefits, how much genuine innovation it represents, how far its effects reach, and how credible the source is. • Three reading depths. The same story in 30 seconds, 1 minute or 3, depending on the time you have. • And the rest, in 30 seconds. One calm paragraph on the important news we left out, so reading only the good stuff doesn't leave you out of the loop. • Editorial typography built to be read, not to harvest seconds of attention. • Eight categories: science, nature, health, culture, technology, sport, solidarity and community. • Favorites, for the ones that stay with you. • One optional notification a day, at the hour you choose. • The link to the original source, always one tap away. ———————————————— HOW WE DO IT Each night we collect what our sources published. An AI model discards anything partisan, violent or sensationalist. A second pass rewrites the headline and summary in a calm editorial voice and computes the Good Score. Images come from the original source; when none is suitable we generate one with AI for that specific story, and we tell you so with a visible label. None of this replaces the newsroom that did the work: the link to the original is always in plain sight. ———————————————— WHAT WE WON'T DO • No user accounts, no passwords.
