You could select campgrounds in an area by looking at the map view and it gave you all the information you needed in an easy to use format along with links to the campground website. This replacement app is worthless. The best features were eliminated and it is incredibly difficult to read and time consuming to use. Good Sam went from First to Worst. Can’t imagine why they want to drive clients away after originally having such a high quality product. If they get it they will never remove it and there are no options except to cancel your card and get a new one. I sold my rv 6 months ago. Cancelled all memberships. This company randomly on a Sunday night 6 months later says we are gonna auto renew your roadside assistance which is a nonrefundable program if you don’t cancel. Ok fine I go to log in, requires call, of course can’t do it at Sunday night. I check on the app and through site and there is NO OPTION to remove payment info. You are stuck. I placed a hold on my credit card. I got email Monday morning that because I didn’t respond I was autorenewed. Are you f kidding me. With an 10 hr notice on a nonrefundable program. Thank goodness I put a hold on my credit card. I called and had them remove it. They acted innocent even though they knew I had no rv, tried to sell me more products, reminded me it was a nonrefundable program. It is super clean, has friendly family owners, free newspaper and coffee or hot chocolate in the morning. All sites were well-maintained, washing machines, showers, and toilets were very nice. If I want extra details, I do need to get on the desktop version. But I am able to edit my listing on the app no problem. I can communicate with renters. And now I can do the pre and post inspections and paper working signing in the app! No more hard copies! Good Sam has excellent customer service! I have quickly called, done “live chat”, and emailed them with prompt responses and have had any questions or issues solved efficiently! I am looking forward to adding more RVs to rent through Good Sam.
