There is a cancel button on the mobile app, but when you click it, it says, “Subscription cannot be cancelled from this device”, which is such blatant BS that it is indicative of an intentionally scummy business model. Should be illegal, and company should have honestly a class action brought against them. I feel like Maria handled me like if I was there only user. I felt very special because of the attention she gave me. Thnks again GOODCAR!!! I checked this out weeks ago to get specific vehicle details and as a one time ‘trial’ it gave very basic info I can find anywhere. So immediately after downloading, under my settings on my phone and ‘subscriptions’ I made sure this app was cancelled and there was NO subscription to this app. Well days and weeks go by and I receive a notification that this app STILL tried to charge my account $29.95 for a subscription I already cancelled WAY ahead of time!! I do NOT know how this was attempted when it’s cancelled on my phone or how this app managed this on my account but this app even with cancellation will try to charge your card, it is a SCAM app, do NOT download!!!!! Update: this company contacted me back right away when I received the email prior to making this review and I responded to that email. Then I made this review, but pretty quickly my email response was replied to and they fixed the error. So I was refunded as immediately as it was charged.
