### 2/5 — Good concept but needs work

*2026-08-06*

By default, not every store should notify me if a bag is available. I should only be notified if I enroll into notifications of particular stores. I’m getting bombarded from irrelevant opportunities. To fix this, simply disable store alerts unless a user opts to enroll.

### 5/5 — Excellent app, wonderful experience for finding new businesses and deals

*2025-11-06*

I really love the Goodie Bag app. It’s provided me with an opportunity to be introduced to a variety of local businesses that I had not known that existed. By providing a platform for local businesses to share their goodies at a significant discount, it’s giving me a chance to enjoy some really great products for a deal and meet some new businesses.

From a technology standpoint, the app works, wonderfully, has great design and is easy to use , I like being able to create favorites as well as getting notified when new goodie bags are available.

This app will be a regular go to for me.

### 5/5 — Good App

*2025-10-10*

Love the concept of this app and I’m so glad to see so many more stores that continue to join!

My only feedback for the team here is to make sure you don’t end up just running promos for the stores and have standards for what they can give you. I did have one experience with produce where the food had majority spoiled already, but overall usually great!

### 5/5 — Love Goodie Bag!

*2025-09-05*

Such a fantastic idea and am so excited to see this idea and app grow!

Super easy to use and love the ability to get food for a little cheaper :)

### 3/5 — Good but not great

*2025-09-01*

We also do too good to go. So both are similar concepts. It’s not a bad idea. We have gotten 3 so far. And this last one, we drove to business. And it was closed. So don’t drive out of your way. No matter if it’s a good business. Sometimes they don’t give much.

### 2/5 — Asks for a ton of info at signup

*2025-08-15, version 2.4.1*

Only to find out the only two markets right now are in Colorado and the Carolinas. They should make it clearer that this is only in a few markets to avoid people wasting time signing up.

### 5/5 — Love the app can’t mark picked up

*2025-07-12, version 2.3.0*

Love the app, but can’t mark completed or picked up

### 5/5 — Save a buck, prevent food waste

*2025-06-20*

Goodiebag is a no-brainer for people who want to enjoy local food at a great price. By partnering with restaurants in my area, I’m able to snag delicious food that would otherwise have gone to waste. Everybody wins!

### 5/5 — All Good!

*2025-05-15*

All of the food services I have used through this app have staff that is pleased with this option for people to try their food. They have provided a lot of delicious food, given a variety, and have not skimped with portions! I’m so glad I’m trying some places that I doubt I would’ve tried, but now will definitely be a repeat customer!

### 1/5 — Unable to verify

*2025-03-17, version 2.2.0*

Heard good things about this app from friends in the Madison area. Downloaded and tried to sign up, but no code is sent to my Verizon phone to verify my account. Anyone else have this issue?

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Absolute trash of a company

*2026-04-30, version 3.2.0*

I had credits on my account that they decided to delete with no warning. I haven’t even used their service yet. Well you can keep the bs 15 credits cuz i am deleting my account.

### 1/5 — Still nothing

*2026-04-28, version 3.2.0*

Nothing ever I the area
If you’re not in the highly limited area just delete the app and move on

### 1/5 — Useless update

*2026-04-16*

It is now impossible to select just the specific vendors from which I receive notifications. The app sends notifications for every vendor in my area by default so I have to turn off notifications completely. When I unselect vendors the app resets them. I have given up and deleted the app.

### 1/5 — Good luck

*2025-10-19, version 2.4.4*

No stores anywhere near me. BUT they do offer you a dollar coin if you refer a friend. I didn’t. Obviously.

### 1/5 — Constant updates & slow to update restaurants

*2025-09-04, version 2.4.3*

This app keeps needing an update every few days, it’s so annoying. And the food is never available when you click the notifications

### 1/5 — Still too many notifications!

*2025-08-17, version 2.4.1*

The app added a feature to get notifications only for your favorite stores. But it doesn't work! I turned it on, and I still get nonstop notifications for stores I've never even heard of. The app is too annoying to keep, so I'm deleting it.

### 1/5 — New notification system is awful

*2025-07-15*

Yesterday they released a new notification system where it basically gives you notifications on whatever stores it wants. You can no longer select which stores to get notifications from. This means I’m getting multiple notifications an hour from random stores on the opposite side of town. The only limit you can set is how many notifications you get a day. If I limit to only a few notifications a day and they keep sending me random ones, I’ll miss out on the ones I actually use. Super disappointing from an app I really loved.

**Developer response:** Hi! Please email us at info@goodiebag.co so we can help you troubleshoot :) You should not be getting notifications for shops not in your radius. We are also releasing a new update that will allow you to get priority notifications of your favorites only :)

### 1/5 — Broken app, cheap rip off

*2025-06-13*

This app is so glitchy and barely has any businesses. All the businesses in Memphis look fake and might just be slightly different copies of the same business???

### 1/5 — I’m not in wymoning

*2025-05-07, version 2.3.0*

FOH!

### 1/5 — Not in major cities

*2025-04-21, version 2.2.1*

Exactly where are the folks getting their deals? There are none in Boston or NYC.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

I’ve been using Goodie Bag for nearly 2 years now, love it. Growing fast!

### 5/5 — Options

*2026-06-13, version 3.2.2*

Just when I’m stumped for the next meal, Goodie Bag has a solution! I’ve never been disappointed. Great concept & app.

### 5/5 — Fun options

*2026-06-08*

Makes you go to places you might not have. Some are good deals, others not so much (small or old food). Explore and find out your favorites!

### 5/5 — Great App for Saving Food & Money!

*2026-05-30, version 3.2.2*

I love this app! It helps reduce food waste while giving costumers amazing deals on food that would otherwise go to waste. The prices are great, the portions are usually generous, and it’s a win-win for both customers and local businesses. I’ve discovered some great places through this app and will definitely keep using it.Highly recommend! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

### 5/5 — It’s so rewarding!

*2026-04-13*

I’ve tried three places through the app already! It feels rewarding to know that there are so many different places for me to try, and the rewards system is so great! Within 3 days of the launch I’ve been rewarded enough for me to get free meals and snacks the past three days! Just be sure to look into the place you order from before committing <3

### 5/5 — Genius concept

*2026-02-16*

I love this app. What a great idea. Helps restaurants make money and save their waste. Helps customers get a good deal. Love it. Need them to come to NYC statttt, I heard they are soon!

### 5/5 — So glad I found this option

*2026-02-10*

I’ve previously used another app, but after moving to Colorado, I found goodie bag and was able to discover a whole plethora of local businesses on there. It’s a great way to try out new food. While saving money and helping reduce food waste.

### 5/5 — Love the concept

*2026-01-16*

I have had this app installed for a while and finally used it this week. Well I just completed my 3rd good2go order in 3 days. So cool! And such and easy way to finally try places youve had your eye on with low risk :)

### 5/5 — Try it!!!

*2026-01-10*

Goodie bag has given me a chance to try food from places I don’t know existed. Fantastic experience every time I’ve used the app! I’ve recommended it to several people and Charlotte is the perfect place to try new food!
