I got it from my daughter and she didn’t use it. I asked my daughter to cancel it and when I double checked on my phone, I didn’t see it there as a subscription so I assumed it was canceled. I just got charged again today. I’ve looked everywhere and I don’t see any way to cancel of subscription. I sent them a message and I hope they will refund me for the previous month, but still, legit businesses should make it simple to cancel if you want to. We named him Bodhi, and while he is the love of my life, I knew we needed help. The humane society partnered with Good Pup and I used this opportunity to connect with a trainer named Karen. For 7 months, Karen was my weekly trainer helping me build the skills and confidence needed to successfully train Bodhi. The in-between chats were such a bonus too. If some crisis or question came up, the 24-hour support team was there to help. In addition to training, Karen was extremely helpful in providing reading resources and recommendations on products. Honestly, I don’t know what I would have done without Karen 💞 she was the key to our succes. Never having experienced training through video chat before, I really was skeptical. I shouldn’t have been! Our trainer, Kimberley was excellent! She had tons of experience and tips which were so valuable in working with Ella in a positive way. She literally trained us to train Ella. The trainer is available to you not just on training day. It’s easy to chat with them through the App if anything comes up during the week. I recommend this training platform 100% . It’s definitely a valuable resource. Karen’s understanding and patience, combined with her constant encouragement during our training sessions, gave us the confidence to make real progress. With our crazy work schedules, in person classes weren’t realistic but we still wanted to have a well behaved pup and this was such an amazing option! Karen gave great tips for the planned training and beyond as questions and behaviors came up. She gave great guidance on how to train our pup and really helped us advance her knowledge and tricks. The virtual classes are a great starting point with additional resources provided that help us advance her training further throughout the week. The flexible schedule was so important to us and we’re so glad that Karen made the experience as good as (if not better) than what we would’ve expected from in-person classes. Karen and the good pup team helped turn him around in just 8 weeks to become one of the sweetest dogs I’ve ever met. He still has a long way to go but they helped me tackle so many things outside of basic training for dogs that I couldn’t have done it without them and their constant support and suggestions. I plan to continue training with Argyle and goodpup in the near future and am so excited for the future to help him blossom into the dog i knew he could be. Tracy was our trainer and she was awesome. She listened to our concerns and gave directions, easily followed and with wonderful results. It was an experience with results we could see in the first week. I am highly pleased with the platform for several reasons: 1. Training takes place in our home. With a brand new rescue dog whose personality I am not familiar I was not eager to take the dog to a new location with strange dogs and humans. Good Dog allows me to gain the skills and knowledge in the place where we reside. 2. Through the chat feature I can get answers to the many questions that arise 24/7. I’ve already used this feature many times. 3. There is a wealth of information in the form of articles and training steps always available in the app. 4. Very cost effective. I can’t think of another training venue which would avail me to this amount if knowledge and training for $30 a month. 5. It was going to be free, but but when I got to the end, it offered me a $17 discount, but it was $34 a week and I was not going to train my dog for 12 months and pay $34 every week so I deleted it immediately. Our trainer Jenny is absolutely amazing. She has been really insightful about our abilities and has been encouraging and supportive. She really cares about helping us to give our dog the best possible start and follows up our session with detailed notes and further sources for help. I create e-learning’s for a living, so I know what to look for an online training. This app is very well set up and a great value for the money. She made the entire process so much easier and was extremely helpful throughout. We adopted a 6-year old, 80lb dog with hip issues. Sara was able to cue physical therapy exercises which helped him gain muscle, mobility, and energy. Because he has so much more energy we have now transitioned to behavior based training. Sara is a highly skilled trainer and has helped with every issue we’ve faced. I believe her issues arose from not knowing what was wanted of her. I found with proper training those issues disappeared. She is no longer on medication and is a happy girl. Karen did a wonderful job training me so I could have the confidence and calm to train Meli. Her instructions were easy to understand and apply. If I had any questions she was able to answer them. I appreciated her feedback on what I was doing well and also what I could do better. The ease of working at home on Zoom was a plus too because I could schedule sessions that worked for me instead of being restricted to a set day and time.
