Will not allow me to login after providing all details. What is the point of an app to find life saving equipment in which you are required to have a lengthy login process that doesn’t actually work. Instead of going on to the phone when driving ### 5/5 — Amazing product and initiative *2025-11-12* This app undoubtedly saves lives, I’ve personally responded to 3 called in the 2 years I’ve had the app and thankfully only 1 of them I was needed there and did CPR. I would recommend it show the incident more clearly and bolder for respondents to notice. Also should have a map once accepted the job. Like a live view to the incident. Also if the Good Sam members be given some kind of sticker or lights. This is because respondents get stuck at the traffic lights, this could be a matter of life or death. Few tweaks required. *2025-04-01* Adding a ‘did not attend’ button to the report form would be helpful. The current fields are required but aren’t relevant if you don’t attend the call. Pop up info from 000 call taker to allow responder to know what they’re going into. Eg potential needles in vicinity. Not sure if it was a setting on my phone, but today was the first call where the app loudly announced me to stand down. User friendly ### 3/5 — More accurate locations *2025-03-17* I have been bleeped twice in the last few months and it doesn’t give me a accurate location of the emergency and by the time I’ve accepted and tried to work out where I’m stood down. It would be so handy if the app could send you an address of the emergency to make it a lot quicker for us to respond. Especially if you are in a place you aren’t familiar with. I just feel I’ve let someone down if I can’t find the accurate location. Wanted to help out ### 5/5 — A great app - I was called yesterday *2025-01-22* I registered with the app a while ago, but yesterday was the first time I had been called to an incident. The app all worked smoothly: - the alarm went off. - the app gave me me the address and I could see the nearest AED on the map. - I did CPR on the community member until the paramedic arrived. - it was easy to fill in the report via the app after I had finished. ### 5/5 — Hey *2025-01-14, version 12.5* You guys just saved me just wanna say thank you ### 2/5 — Notifications with Apple Watch inadequate *2025-01-07* I think this is more of an issue with Apple ratger than Goodsam, but it needs to be sorted. When wearing an Apple Watch notifications on the phone are ‘Disabled’ so the only alert you get is a timy little buzz on the wrist - the same as every other notification (news, weather, sms etc) Very difficult to pick up sometimes and can get lost if there’s a number of other notifications at same time. Need to have siren alert in phone and on watch at all times. ### 4/5 — Would like alerts on Apple Watch *2024-12-03* I’ve had this for a while, it can be a little clunky and the cardio version doesn’t always give enough information although that’s maybe down to the dispatching service. My main niggle is that I’d like to get alerts on my Apple Watch as I would see them faster that way. It doesn’t store the information I have already provided, I have to start from scratch. Therefore, I just haven’t. ### 1/5 — Difficult *2026-03-04, version 13.5* This App would work alot better if it was easier to use. It is obviously fine when playing on it, but when it actually goes off, its an emergency situation, adrenaline is pumping, and this app is difficult! When i am stood down, there is no alert, the map just disappears. There is no option to say i have arrived, so the siren continues to go off while im doing chest compressions, which is annoying. Nothing can compete with this marriage of skill and technology to deliver life saving magic. As a developer, this delights me and demonstrates how technology should be used. As someone who has struggled with cancer, and significant health challenges, it is an enormous comfort to know this app exists. However, I have also been to incidents where the early actions or help app users have administered has saved people’s lives. I used to respond daily to GP surgery referrals and social care responses. But, never ever CPR or Cardiac Arrests. Trained and carry a Defibrillator & First Responder kit. ### 5/5 — Revolutionary! *2026-06-13* That being said, it would be great to get information on what I’m showing up too, anaphylaxis, cardiac arrest, symptoms, etc. if there is anyone there and what dangers await? I was sent to a person having anaphylaxis and they had been waiting an hour for an ambulance. Since it didn’t say what I was responding too, I did not have an EpiPen on me. Let alone almost 50% of people don’t carry an epipen or it is expired from many years prior. There should be more information and support for Responders. That being said Identification as well. To be more user friendly, I would love an option to set availability/unavailability automatically. Either by marking yourself unavailable for next 8/10/12 hours and the app automatically turns it back on after the timer is done, or being able to put in your own hourly available periods for the week.
