There’s such a vast variety of options for me and my kids to choose from, and I never worry that it’s going to be inappropriate or unsafe. The good watch shows are not only visually engaging, but their messaging and story line is spot on. My kids love city hall kids and my niece who’s 1.5 is enjoying some of the educational content. The length of time varies from show to show but it’s always a perfect amount of time for me to use for transition periods are car rides. No tantruming when I turn it off bc it runs just the right about of time that matches with my kids attention spans. Netflix for kids but better and soooo reliable is how I would describe this. I can also say, as a pediatric clinical psychologist, the language and graphics used have obviously been highly researched in order to be appropriate and not overly-dopamine engaging for kids across the developmental span. I'm picky about what my kids watch and GoodWatch is the first app in years that's genuinely surprised me. The animation quality is amazing. Reminds me of the Pixar shorts era where every frame felt intentional. My son watched the same episode four times in a row and quoted it at dinner. That's the highest praise a 6-year-old can give. I cancelled it immediately after signing up. They still charged my bank account $49.99! Then when I tried to email them to get it cancelled and a refund, their email address comes back undeliverable. ### 1/5 — Not happy *2026-08-07* Was not advertised that it was an only an app for an iPad or a phone. I thought that I would be able to watch it on a smart TV with my kids. A smart TV takes apps, but there isn’t an app available for a TV so I feel that I wished my money and nobody will contact me for a refund. ### 1/5 — Tricked *2026-07-27* Questionable leading. I think this app is perfect except for leading everyone to believe it is free until you try to watch something then they hit you with a “1 time” fee of $39 which I read used to be $29. Even still for the quality of the content it is well worth it but this us such a backwards world we live in right now I do not appreciate being set up! ### 3/5 — Ehhh *2026-09-09* I was initially really excited about this app, but we’ve been through pretty much everything and there haven’t been any new episodes for months now, so I’m a little disappointed in that. The stories are great. I only went with 4 stars because there are very limited episodes and the kids want to know what happens next! When are new stories and episodes coming? We love it because of the quality content that challenges her and encourages her to think, which is a challenge to find these days without ads and mindless videos. ### 5/5 — A Streaming App Parents Can Feel Good About *2026-07-07* As a parent, I really appreciate having a streaming app that’s designed specifically for kids and doesn’t leave me wondering if the next video is appropriate. My 9-year-old had fun exploring the different shows and quickly found a few favorites that he actually asked to watch again. I also like that all of the content is original and that new episodes are added every week, so there’s always something new without having to search through endless options. It’s nice knowing the shows are certified safe, which gives me a lot more peace of mind than letting him browse other platforms. Overall, GoodWatch has been a great addition to our screen time routine, and it’s one I feel comfortable recommending to other parents looking for kid-friendly entertainment. ### 5/5 — Amazing kids app!! *2026-07-06* My kids absolutely love this app and the shows on it! My little boy got hooked on one of the shows, and I don’t feel like I need to watch over his shoulder or worry what’s video the algorithm is going to decide to show him. I love that it keeps them entertained while not getting them worked up like most TV series do! ### 5/5 — Game Changer for Young Children *2026-06-26* As a mom with four young children, we constantly struggle with content that I don’t feel is entirely appropriate for my young children. That on top of the high paced movement, it feels like they need constant stimulation. This app is calming and has Pixar level quality. It entertained my children from 2 years up to 8 years old. They all begged to have it put on their iPads once it was downloaded for their little sister. It is educational and the updated graphics keeps them entertained.
