Just let me type the time in instead of having a scroll selector. They suck. ### 2/5 — Disappointed to say the least *2026-08-31, version 26.33.0* I hate using this calendar it’s by far one of the worst calendar apps I’ve ever used. You would assume a calendar app is pretty simple and that it’s hard to go wrong with a calendar app yet Google somehow manages it. I hate that you can’t turn an event into a task and vice versa. I also hate that I can’t remove a calendar from my list if it’s been I was the owner of the shared calendar. I should be able to create a calendar and unsubscribe from it. Also there aren’t enough features for me to fully customize it to my needs. I just want to be able to make several variants of events and name them instead of having all event under a calendar just show up as an event with the title. I want to be able to use it for school so my lectures can be one type of event, and due dates be another type of event or to add tasks to an event ugh! The other calendar apps I have used are simple enough to understand yet can be taken further through customization and that’s what Google Calendar is missing. ### 4/5 — Widgets and MacBook app *2026-08-29, version 26.32.2* Love the calendar so so much but would love larger widgets for the Home Screen and a proper MacBook app ### 2/5 — Would be awesome if… *2026-08-29, version 26.32.2* I love using Google Calendar, but not being able to change colours (I like using custom colours instead of the default ones.) of my calendars in the app is really annoying. I have to delete the app and then go into it through an old version on my search engine to make a new calendar or change the colours of them. Secondly it doesn’t look the same between the two versions the one online looks brighter and less dull. The app itself does what I need it to do but my brain needs the colours to be happy. ### 2/5 — Love BUT *2026-08-28, version 26.32.2* I live by mi Google Calendar and love basically everything… except the new update hides the name of the month in all views. And it’s very irritating to now have to tap twice to search or go to today. Please revert back to how it’s shown in the app preview photos!! This gives the Apple calendar the edge for me. I have two calendars that on desktop are set to super light beige and the other is a medium/dark brown. On mobile they look identical in color and I can’t tell the two apart. This makes the separation of calendars almost entirely useless. I will be switching back to a different calendar app and just syncing my Google calendar, unfortunately. ### 1/5 — Does not notify for events *2026-08-20, version 26.31.0* This has happened multiple different times, but the events I have in my calendar will not notify me when the event is approaching. With reoccurring events in a Google Calendar, clicking an an event occurrence brings up that specific day and I can choose to delete that single instance. With a reoccurring event with an iCloud calendar, clicking on the specific event brings up the ORIGINAL event and day and I can’t delete the selected occurrence. This has always been my favorite calendar app. I love the functionality of the calendar but suddenly the name of the month is no longer displayed and hard to tell which month I am looking at. Пользуюсь давно) Есть момент, который замедляет работу, в режиме вида по 3 дня, а именно: Создал мероприятие, настроил как надо, порой нужно его переместить из одного дня на другой не открывая это мероприятие, можно зажать перемещать как нужно вправо или влево, но это очень медленно (прокрутка очень медленная). Было бы классно, если бы можно было одним пальцем зажать мероприятие, другим пролистать не отпуская предыдущий, выбрав день, поставить туда, куда нужно. Это бы сильно упростила работу, когда надо быстро поменять день и время не открывая мероприятие) ### 5/5 — Clear, easy and colourful *2026-08-04, version 26.29.4* If your like me and your looking for a clear and easy app then get this. Because not only is is clear and straightforward to use, it has colour coding with a vast range of colours. It has a great colour range on mobile but a resent update means it has an unbelievably vast range on tablets and probably other devices. If you’ve got dyslexia or ADHD this is really good as you can change the colours of your events meaning you don’t have to read every individual entry to find something or know what’s coming up, you can just look at the colours you’ve assigned for certain types of event (if you choose to). The app itself is really fun to look and interact with, each app has its own background and the app itself is clear and well presented. If you’re into organisation then this is great because, like I said, easy and fun to do colour coding. Overall 5 stars, this topped my last calendar app by a mile. My only complaint is that the colour update isn’t on phones as well tablets yet, so when I synced my calendar to my phone my events are all default colour because most colours I used on tablet aren’t on the mobile range. (You won’t have this problem if your NOT using a calendar synced from your tablet or a device with extra colours) I hope you update the mobile app soon so my calendar can be colour coded but until then, I can still see my events and that’s all that really matters. ### 5/5 — PERFECT *2026-07-31, version 26.28.0* It’s way better than normal calender. I’ve been using this calendar for more than 6 years and was so excited to see the update!! Yay!! Side note: I would love for the repeats option for an event if you could say repeat Monday Wednesday Friday for example for a class that doesn’t happen on the weekends. The apple clock app has a feature where you can select the days you want an alarm to repeat and I think this feature for calendar events would be great! Right now you can pick repeats every one day but then it adds Sunday and throws everything off. It has become one of the main tools I use every day to stay organized, productive, and disciplined. The integration with Google Tasks is excellent, and it has really helped me build better daily habits. I do have one suggestion that would improve the experience on iPhone. When I mark a task as completed, a confirmation pop-up with an Undo button appears at the bottom of the screen. While I appreciate having the option to undo, the pop-up blocks the area where I need to tap to complete the next task. This interrupts my workflow because I have to wait for the pop-up to disappear or tap it before I can continue. It would be much smoother if the confirmation appeared at the top of the screen or in another location that doesn’t interfere with the next task. Right now, it’s easy to accidentally tap Undo, which means I have to manually complete the task again. This is a small usability improvement, but it would make completing multiple tasks much faster and more seamless.
