It does r make any sense. I am using an iPhone 13 along with the Noise app, and both are showing approximately the same number of steps (around 6,800-7,000+). However, Google Fit is showing only around 2,800 steps, and every time I refresh the app, the step count decreases further. I walked for more than an 1 hour, so the app is clearly not tracking steps correctly. I am also concerned because this app is connected to my health insurance rewards program, where discounts are provided after completing the required number of steps. Or even 98 99. Since Fitbit app is now Google fit. My score consistently shows in the range of 79 to 84. These apps are inaccurate and killing humans self beliefs. Self judgement. Making our brains numb and not having us believe in our self rather inserting algorithms in our minds so we don’t use our brains. I meditate everyday. Workout everyday. Almost a perfect life. Even the gps tracking of Fits bit latest model is off by upto 500m on a 5k run. I do this every morning. Same route. Now since v1.90, no longer automatically syncs to my account. Signing out then back in updates the data though. An obvious bug has been introduced, at least for me. EDIT - working again.
