I know this is a free game and that’s how they make money but there is just to many adds but other than that amazing game highly recommend it. ### 3/5 — Great game but big problem for me *2020-10-22, version 1.7.7* I absolutely love this game I’ve been playing it on pc for years and just recently figured out there is a mobile version. However sometimes the game refuses to startup or ill play for around 30 seconds and then it will crash, I would love to give this 5 stars but until I can play for more than 12 seconds at a time it stays here ### 4/5 — A few suggestions *2020-09-30, version 1.7.7* I got this game and I love so much! I just have a few suggestions. One of the suggestions is to get rid of the ads you can still keep the ads but make them appear less often, every time I die it plays a random add. Lower the tone of the ads please, make them appear at a certain death count! ### 3/5 — Great game but.. *2020-06-29, version 1.7.7* So, as I got better at the game, i seemed to notice that the higher up you get on the leaderboard, it seems like you kind of “miss” people and they get a easy shot at you. I’m saying that my sword...or whatever your character swings around, will go right through the other AI or players. It’ll make it so you can’t get too high of a score if you get really good, which will stop the good players from getting too good. Therefore, making the game a solid even ground where you can’t overwhelm the game with one good player. ### 3/5 — This game is really fun but.. *2020-04-12, version 1.7.7* I really think this game is very fun but it is very hard just starting out on this game. The skins are very hard to get for new players and this ads are very annoying. If you aren’t very good at surviving in a game like this don’t get it, every time you die you get an ad. The ads are the only really big problem I have with this game. You guys should make the ads way less abundant because this game’s ads are too long, and are always at the end of a game. For beginners they will die in a few seconds most likely. They will get a lot of ads. I would pay to get rid of them if it was a dollar, not 3, 3 dollars is too much for ads. Since you have this much ads please make that a dollar! I hate having to pay a lot more than $1 for ads, it’s ridiculous to have so many. Other than the annoying ads this game is very fun, and very fair. So if you have the money to spare, get this game. It is very enjoyable once you get used to dying a lot. ### 4/5 — Hi *2020-03-01, version 1.7.7* So just so u know I love the game. There’s just a couple tweaks needed. I think there should be new skins. Also, maybe a new mode where only the toughest can fight. There’d be ways to collect points and once you reach a certain amount you can play the mode. And then the more points you get the stronger the opponents you fight. And can you connect the game to the internet. I know it’s AI’s because I killed someone with a short blade then 2 seconds later he reappeared with a huge blade. So plz connect the game to the internet and plz make more skins. Oh, and plz plz plz plzzzzzz make less adds and when there are adds, can you make so it’s not the same ad every time. I keep getting forced to play “ run race 3D “ anyway, that’s all and I hope you like my ideas. ### 4/5 — Great Game... Gets boring *2020-02-19, version 1.7.7* In the beginning the game is great, there are a lot of skins and things to try and achieve, but all of them are easy and eventually you are left with nothing to try and get. Maybe you could add some more skins that are harder to get. Also it needs more game modes as all of them get boring after a while. Maybe one where you have hitpoints and it requires multiple hits to kill. Lastly could you add better dodging machanics, right now it is easy to kill and be kill and it is just a game of who can slice faster. ### 4/5 — New Mode *2019-11-24, version 1.7.7* This is a great .io game, but I really think that a battle royale game mode would be great. This game mode would make several players want to download this game, as long as it is well advertised of course. Many other games (Fortnite, Apex Legends, PUBG,) have this. The games that were just named are EXTREMELY popular. Add this game mode for more users and more money. If more goons players are on for more time, you will make more money off of ads. When I did I got even more excited but I only found that it was the same as it was before. The ads did not go away. Another thing is that the skins need to be easier to get because somethings are really hard to do and the some of the skins aren’t even worth it. Please keep this game going..I’ve seen a lot of them where they just don’t update it but this one is worth the time and play. Keep on adding new stuff! ### 4/5 — Too many adds and a new feature. *2019-07-15, version 1.7.6* Even though this game is really fun, I’m going to say it right now, TOO MANY ADDS! 😡 After every single game there is an ad. Cut the ads down devs, there’s too many. Also, there could be a new feature in Team mode. Reviving fellow team mates. After five seconds, if no one on your team resurrected you, THEN you would die. During that five second time window, there would be a small menu that would pop up and there would be different messages that you would send to your teammates and that message will pop up in the top right of their screen. This is a .io game after all. The menu for the messages would be like this, but in a circle. Please resurrect (player name)! (Player name) is in the (part of the arena i.e top right)! Finally, please add some different maps instead of just a big white box. ### 5/5 — Goons io edits and what I like *2019-06-15, version 1.7.6* I like everything I would just add a little more modes and some more skins.I use to play paper io like it has I think you should add some challenges.I love capture the flag keep it up ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — An obscene amount of ads *2020-10-08, version 1.7.7* Literally need to watch an ad after every time you die. So even if you spawn in and die right away you need to watch an ad. Some of those ads you need to watch fully and there is no option to skip them. I’m fine with needing to watch ads every now and then, but you will end up spending way more time watching ads than playing. ### 1/5 — I paid for no adds and am still getting adds. *2019-08-13, version 1.7.6* It’s a fun game but that is just unacceptable. That is basically just stealing my money. If that hadn’t happened I would have rated it four stars because while it doesn’t have online it is still fun (still does get boring sometimes). If you think you’d like the game then get it, just don’t pay for no adds. P.S: Just play in airplane mode to not get adds. It won’t make a difference to gameplay because like I said it’s not online. ### 1/5 — Too many ads *2018-03-23, version 1.3* This game is too short to have as many ads as it has. 8/10 times there’s a 30 second ad. Get rid of that or at least have an option to pay to be ad free. Otherwise it’s a pretty fun game. And make characters customizable. And, I’ve watched an ad a million times to unlock and I never get the character. This game needs quite a bit of work. They are bots that you fight with, that is why this game is so easy! Evidence? Oh, here it is. When i am close to a “person” they don’t even go for me. Also, EVERYONE just simply walks around and doesn’t go for kills. They only seem to accidentally charge at you and slice you. Seriously, i don’t think people are bad. It’s the bots that are bad. ### 3/5 — The amount of ads is absurd *2022-11-15, version 1.7.7* So the game is a lot of fun to play but almost every time you die you get hit with an ad. Sometimes you die as soon as you spawn in and get another ad immediately. I know you probably won’t do anything because ads = money but there really should be a timer that won’t give you an ad if you die in the first 10 seconds of a round. Sure you can just pay to remove the ads but lots of people who play the game are kids who don’t have money. ### 3/5 — Ads *2021-11-23, version 1.7.7* This is a fun game and it is easy to get addicted to, but the main problem is that every time you get killed, you have to watch an ad. And you would think that you can just buy the no ads but 3 dollars on a mobile game I’m probably going to delete in a weak? Kinda expensive. It would be better if you had an ad maybe every three lives instead of every single time you die. And don’t get me wrong there are a lot of ads. To stop that ad problem here’s a little trick to get rid of the ads. All you have to do is double tap the home button and swipe up on it. Then the ad will go away but it puts you back on the Home Screen. I do this when I die so I do not have to watch the ad. For the devs I LOVE this game but the ads are really getting in the way of a lot of people. Sometimes when I trie to strike my opponent with my weapon, they don’t die from my attack. I also wish that you could move a little bit closer to you opponent when striking, instead of standing still. Finally, the team mode takes to long when playing, why can’t there be a time limit? I would like for the game mode to least at least 5 to 10 minutes and see which team has the higher percentage. Or, the teams percent score has to reach 80% to 90% percent at least. Other than the games issues, I love this game and just wish for some More game modes. The skins are cool, the controls are balanced, the mobs are perfect for the games theme, and when the weapons get bigger the more you earn points is genius! I do recommend this game to people who like playing .io games.
