Handles the billing. Provides a background check. Requires tutors to pass tests and/or prove proficiency/experience to advertise for specific subjects and grade levels. Offers package deals to students without reducing tutor's original cut. Gooroo is awesome!! They dedicate themselves to finding the best matches for all students and tutors so that students can get the most out of every session. They are always trying to find ways to better the tutor selection process for their clients and want every student who works with them to succeed. They also allow their tutors to set their own prices, rather than restricting them to a base rate, as many other tutoring sites do, allowing the tutor greater freedom. Through the app, you can find students who perfectly match your time, location, and teaching styles.
