The second I got done creating it. It says my email or password is wrong. Questions about products are answered by a robot with little or no understanding of the products available. All previous orders had been 2 or 3 candles. When the offer wasn’t applied at checkout, I immediately contacted customer support. Was told cannot cancel order and will have to contact them once the order arrives to return if I want a refund. Will decide then if I have to pay shipping back. Said promotion ended months ago. Then why was it offered? Sometimes you can tell by the name of the candle what it is, but others no. The scent descriptions are on their website but not on the app. Very frustrating to have to go back and forth. ### 3/5 — App is buggy *2023-11-27* I’m a diehard fan of these candles. My fiancé and I often joke about how I have a “problem“ because of the amount of candles I have stocked up in our pantry. The app, however, is making holiday shopping this year more difficult than usual. Not only could I not find a way to contact somebody directly through the app about this, but I’ve gone to the payment screen several times trying to choose Afterpay as my payment option, and when I get to the following page to use it, I find that it keeps automatically changing to ShopPay, which I don’t use and it doesn’t already have my payment information saved. what’s even weirder is that Goose Creek Candles is a shop that is available on the Afterpay app, but when I sign into Goose Creek through Afterpay, it doesn’t show any of the items that I have saved in my cart. ### 3/5 — Beginning to wonder *2022-03-20, version 4.6* I hope GC isn’t going down the same path as YC…. More and more, the candles don’t have a great throw. Today, a smaller candle didn’t burn evenly. I’ve been a vocal (pleased) customer for a long time. The smaller candles wicks are too small.
