Today I tried to open it to get my fishing license and it opens for a split second then closes. I think the confusion of other reviews is user related, in not understanding that when making purchases the app will open a browser and take you directly to game and parks to complete the transaction. I did this myself and the app showed the updated information immediately after going back to it.
