Used to work great on my iPhone 6s. Seems like it needs an update. ### 2/5 — Connecting problems *2015-12-04, version 1.2* Sometimes the app doesn't detect that it is connected to the iPod ### 3/5 — Works well but has a few problems *2015-10-24, version 1.2* This app works well with the GoPoint BT1 and is a great way to scan live engine data and watch the normal function of your engine in real time. However, it has a few problems: - There is no mechanism for adding parameter IDs to the app, preventing other subsystem and sensor data such as engine oil temp or transmission temp from being scanned. This makes the app much less useful. - The UI wastes space and only allows three live data readings to be displayed at a time. A slimmer UI would allow more readings to be shown at once. - There is no mechanism to hide readings of subsystems and sensors that you don't care about. This forces a lot of scrolling to be done. - The live MPG reading doesn't work for all vehicles. ### 4/5 — Needs an update for IOS 9 *2015-10-06, version 1.1* Fairly good app, but no longer works. Needs to be updated for use with IOS 9. I am so sorry I ever bought this piece if junk. I am going back to a normal consumer wired scanner as nothing I have tried works with this. I first had the wired OBD2 plug and then the wireless version. The app used to show you what monitors were set but no longer. My only problem is how Apple constantly updates and GoPoint is behind on making it compatible ### 5/5 — Works great, directions need help *2016-03-25, version 1.2* I got this after I had a check engine light that cost me $90 to diagnose and clear for a loose gas cap. (Code P0456). The app and device cost the exact same price, so I bought this system and have now cleared two code P0456s. So I have save $90 now. The directions should tell you that some cars need engine to be turned off to clear the light. On the other hand, Gopoint has a tech support person who is easy to reach and told me this detail right away, so not a big deal. ### 5/5 — Most used app *2014-06-07, version 1.1* I use this multiple times weekly with my Gopoint BLuetooth obdII and my car and family cars. It's been a great investment. ### 5/5 — iOS 7 *2013-10-01, version 1.0.6* Why you destroy rating when an iOS is released amazes me. iOS 7, if using it, changed everything about the iPhones. I spoke with owner, through customer support which is easy, and they are doing everything they can right now to fix the program for iOS 7. This iOS changed the phones to the point where they are no longer the iPhones we used to know. Let them have a chance before you berate them. ### 5/5 — Works fine now *2013-02-24, version 1.0.6* The latest updates to the app and cable firmware fixed everything. Got prompt replays from developers and prompt fixes. Thanks. ### 5/5 — GL1 Users May Need to update Firmware *2013-02-06, version 1.0.5* So, I had to update the firmware in my GL1 cable to get this to work again. The "trick" for that is to download their "BT1" app and run it. That will prompt to update the firmware in the cable. After that, the GoPoint app worked again no prob. ### 5/5 — Works great, more data than I expected. *2012-08-17* I think this is a great tool for a casual user, it gives excellent data on how a vehicle is performing. It would be nice to view historical data that it has collected, but that doesn't concern me a great deal. I did have a lot of trouble out of the box, but once I updated the firmware on the BT1 it worked great on all the vehicles I used it in, including my troublemaker.
