## What is GoProfication?

GoProfication converts the SD card from your Insta360 camera into a format iPhones import natively — straight from the Photos app, just like a GoPro card.

THE PROBLEM
Plug an Insta360 SD card into an iPhone with a card reader and the Photos import screen shows… nothing. iOS only auto-imports cards that follow the classic camera folder layout, and Insta360 cards don't. Digging the files out through the Files app works, but it's slow and easy to get wrong.

THE FIX
You have two choices: install Insta360's own app and do everything through it, or make the SD card look like a GoPro card so your iPhone imports it directly.
GoProfication renames the card in place:
• Removes the tiny .lrv / .thm preview files that confuse the importer
• Renames videos and photos GoPro-style (GOPR0001.MP4, G0000001.jpg), keeping them in shooting order
• Renames the Camera01 folder to 100GOPRO

Your footage is never copied, re-encoded or modified — only names change, so conversion takes seconds even on a full card.

HOW TO USE

Plug the SD card into your iPhone or iPad with a USB-C or Lightning card reader
Open GoProfication and tap Convert SD Card
First time only: pick the card in the file browser so iOS grants access (it's remembered afterwards)
When "Done!" appears, the card is safe to remove — re-insert it and import via Photos
GOOD TO KNOW
• Already-converted cards are recognised: "This is already a GoPro SD. Nothing to do."
• If the card already contains a GoPro folder, it's archived as "Previous Flight 1", "Previous Flight 2"… before the new footage is converted — nothing is ever overwritten
• All changes are fully written to the card before "Done!" shows, so it's safe to pull immediately
• An interrupted conversion can simply be run again

MADE FOR THE FIELD
Built by a tandem paragliding pilot who hands customers their in-flight footage right on the landing field. If you shoot with an Insta360 and the people you fly with use iPhones, this replaces the file-manager dance with one tap.

GoProfication changes file and folder names on the SD card only. It never uploads, edits or deletes your footage; the only files removed are the camera's small .lrv/.thm preview sidecars.
