## What is Gordis Translate?

Gordis connects you with a live volunteer translator in seconds, over a simple audio call.

Need help understanding a form, a doctor's instructions, a conversation at a store, or anything else in English or Spanish? Tap one button and a real person who speaks both languages joins you on a call to translate, right when you need it.

FOR PEOPLE WHO NEED HELP
- One tap connects you with a volunteer
- Simple, large buttons — no typing needed
- Speak naturally; your volunteer translates both ways

FOR VOLUNTEERS
- Get an alert when someone nearby needs a translator
- Answer when you're free — skip anytime
- Turn alerts on or off whenever you like

Gordis is informal, human translation — neighbors helping neighbors, live over the phone.

¿Necesitas ayuda con inglés? Un toque y un voluntario bilingüe te acompaña por llamada. ¿Hablas inglés y español? Sé voluntario y ayuda cuando puedas.
